Avis
Probably my favourite Lebanese restaurant till date (and God knows I love this cuisine and went to quite a few in my life !). Service is joyful and impeccable, and the food is generous, delicious and topping or exceeding my highest expectations ! Only point to check : the price, as it's a bit expensive, but honestly it's absolutely matching the quality. I fully recommend!
Delicious food, good drinks and great atmosphere. We had the chicken & kofta skewers and they were amazing. Will visit again.
Coming from a Lebanese - this is the BEST Lebanese restaurant in Cannes. Absolutely incredible food, authentically Lebanese cooked by two Lebanese chefs who are the owners. The service is brilliant and the prices are unbelievably reasonable!! I have returned every day since, and am inviting people to Cannes just as an excuse to go for the meal deal they have (see pictures, and don’t wear tight trousers because you WILL leave absolutely stuffed!!!!) Incredible, 5 stars all round!!!!!! ❤️👌🏻
Being Lebanese will make me look into Lebanese restaurants in a very detailed way. This restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever tried. They are located in the beautiful Cannes and I have to say their menu has all the Lebanese mezza and main dishes. The plates are super satisfying in portion size and the taste is absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hmm, the atmosphere is meh. The service is really bad. The waiters go around asking people if this drink is theirs. Service is slow!!! No fans no air-condition inside and we are melting under the tent outside waiting for the food. They need better management. The lemonade tasted like mint water. The sambousik is mainly dough, the states are undercooked. And the rice is dry. Left under a lamp. The meat is precooked and reheated. Very dry shish tawook.
Very bad experience. We ordered 4 set menus that were supposed to be enough for our group, but we only received a few plates of appetizers — and that was basically it. The appetizers were fine, but the main part was very disappointing. We were served only 6 small pieces of meat and around 100 grams of rice, which looked like it had been reheated in the microwave with oil. This is absolutely not what you expect from Lebanese cuisine and definitely not enough for 4 people. We paid 205 €, but left the restaurant still hungry. It honestly feels like they don’t really understand this cuisine. There were also almost no guests in the restaurant, and now it’s clear why. We do not recommend this place.
Restaurant is nicely located near the waterfront. We were here during the summer for the Cannes media festival and opted to sit outside at the tents that is across from the main establishment. Service was efficient and friendly and I opted for a mint based cocktail which was refreshing and my wife who was suffering from a bout of cold ordered some hot honey tea which she really liked. We ordered the vegetarian mezze platter for 2 which consisted of an assortment of hot/cold usual suspects. I liked the dolmah and the pilaf rice the most and others were ok, nothing special. Dessert was an assortment of bite sized baklava which was decent. Next to the restaurant was some live music by some bands with people dancing away which really added to the fun vibes during the evening. Dinner was pleasant and relatively inexpensive and we had a nice walk on the way back home.
What an amazing find in Cannes!! The most beautiful food, we enjoyed it so much we came twice! Everything was so tasty! Ali was an excellent host. We wish you all the best! The Hen ladies from England! X
