It was a cathedral with a truly unique atmosphere, different from any cathedrals I had seen before. At 142 meters (466 feet) tall, its spire was the world's tallest building from 1647 to 1874. Was it because of the weather? The exterior of the cathedral looked really dark and unique. I later realized that the interior felt completely different. I deeply regret not taking the time to go inside. If you've come to Strasbourg, I highly recommend visiting the inside of the cathedral.

Just missed the cathedral's closing time, yet was able to get some great views of the exterior, and it is impressive! Incredible detail on this enormous structure, from the spires to the doors to the flying butresses to the astronomical indicators and clock! It's definitely a must-see!

out the front of the cathedral is a very busy area, always packed with queues for the cathedral and also the meeting place for tours.

Amazing. Such a beautiful experience, so much history. I really enjoyed the astronomical clock. It is absolutely unique. Stay and watch it move when the time changes. Definitely worth the 8 euro to climb the 360 plus steps to the top of the cathedral. You get a fantastic view if Strasbourg and can see as far as the Black forest on a clear day.

This is one of the most beautiful and dazzling cathedrals I have ever visited, because of all the story behind it. The architecture is amazing and just being there is an out-of-this-world experience. Everything gels near this spot and there are so many options for the visitors nearby to go to as well like coffee houses, souvenir shops, and great restaurants.

This is the public square. Very beautiful with astonishing views of the cathedral. Had coffee there every morning in this spot on a week long visit.

Just breath taking. If you are visiting in December come early if you wanna go inside.
