I visited this store and, at first, my experience was positive. The staff members were pleasant and helpful, and I appreciated their assistance while making my purchases. However, once I returned home, I noticed that the discount had not been applied to my receipt. As a result, I had to drive 10 km back to the store to request the correction. The store manager handled the situation personally, and after about 30 minutes, a store credit was issued for a future purchase. While I appreciated that the issue was eventually corrected, I must admit that I would have expected a small goodwill gesture in addition to simply rectifying the mistake, considering the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the situation became more complicated afterward. I purchased a mirror with home delivery. On the scheduled delivery day, as I had received no update, I contacted the delivery company myself, only to be informed that the mirror would not be delivered because it had been broken by the driver. I then contacted Maisons du Monde’s customer service department and was told that a new delivery would simply be rescheduled. To this day, I still have not received the replacement. When I asked whether any goodwill gesture would be considered due to the inconvenience and delay, I was told that no compensation was necessary because I had allegedly been informed in advance of the issue. This is not accurate. In fact, I was the one who reached out to the delivery company to find out what had happened to my order. I must say that this response left me feeling disappointed and, quite honestly, as though my word was being questioned. That is particularly disheartening for a brand I have genuinely appreciated and supported for many years. After several email exchanges, my most recent message has gone unanswered. I sincerely hope the store manager will remember me — particularly the broken mirror order and the store credit issued — and will reach out so that we can find a fair and satisfactory resolutio
