Exemplary local restaurant with French flair, charm, and atmosphere. With it's stylistic front and rustic decor, Le Louis Phillipe drew us off the street to have a bite and we were NOT disappointed. From the flash of a tablecloth to our servers with a smile, everything felt like it was from a movie. We were treated like the only customers in the place and were blown away by the caliber of food. The eggs and mayonnaise were creamy and delightful. The onion soup was hearty with rich broth and a cheesy crouton top. And the Gnocchi with creme tomato and basil sauce was to die for. Perfect portions to eat solo or share. I wish I had more time in Paris to visit again. As an American, I felt treated kindly and would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful evening at Le Louis Philippe in Paris. The Boeuf Bourguignon was tender and rich, the escargots delicious, and the wine excellent. Service good. Overall, a fantastic experience—thank you from Austria!

Le Louis Philippe offers a lovely traditional Parisian dining experience with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The fish was particularly impressive… very fresh, delicate, and perfectly tender, with simple preparation that lets the quality of the ingredients stand out. A pleasant spot for classic French cuisine done in a straightforward, well-executed way.

I am really disappointed in the service and food quality of this restaurant. I’m bilingual, and live close by. My anglophone friend was visiting, and having walked past this restaurant often since I’ve moved into the quartier, I have always wanted to try out this restaurant. It has a really nice, inviting atmosphere with the lights outside and French customers. It was just an illusion. We both ordered the bœuf bourguignon and were both disappointed by how much fat there was compared to meat. It was impossible to cut through with the knife. The potatoes were also still a bit raw. I have had my fair share of bœuf bourguignon in France, and none of them were as tasteless, fatty, or as small as this one. The cocktails were good, I’ll give them that, but mine was rather small. The waiter checked on us twice throughout the whole meal, and once we were ready to pay, he told me showing the reader « here is an option to tip, what amount would you like? » I was shocked because I have never been asked to tip in France before, and told him no thank you, to which he became upset and was theatrically asking me why. I did not appreciate this at all. At this point, I realized that maybe it’s a tourist trap, although it’s confusing because many parisiens were also there, and seemed to have been enjoying themselves. They 100% thought we were dumb tourists who would fall for leaving a tip.

Le Louis Philippe in Paris is an absolute gem of a French restaurant. The food is exceptional from start to finish, with every dish showcasing authentic flavors and beautiful craftsmanship. The oysters are incredibly fresh, the frog legs are perfectly prepared and full of delicate flavor, and the octopus is cooked to tender perfection — truly standout dishes that highlight the kitchen’s talent. The staff is equally impressive: friendly, attentive, and effortlessly cool, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience. Their wine selection is also excellent, offering a thoughtful variety that pairs wonderfully with the menu. Whether you’re a fan of classic French cuisine or simply looking for a memorable meal in Paris, Le Louis Philippe delivers on every level. Highly recommended!

It was great! The waiter was really helpful and nice, when they didn't have one of the appetizers we wanted to order, he was patient and gave us time to choose. We dined at the veranda and the space was lovely. Amazing dinner overall ⭐️

We had dinner here on our third evening in Paris. We were seated on the enclosed patio which was great to enjoy the evening's activity. Michael stated with gravlax salmon and dill, for the entrees I had the Louis Phillip burger made with French Aubrac Beef which is on par with Kobe & Wagyu Beef and fries, Michael had the Duck Magret de canard with a lovely bottle of red wine.
