This is a bit of a late review, but I can’t help thinking the wonderful visit I had in late Sep 2025. As a wine enthusiast, I was excited to experience the estate and to be warmly greeted by Margaux and the entire team. (Everyone was so friendly!) Margaux was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions, and my friend and I enjoyed a fun tasting of both the white and red. When I ran into some comms issues with another chateau- she went above and beyond to help me get in touch - something I really appreciated. A true highlight of my trip to the region.

Excellent wine tour through their premises with a great tasting as the finishing touch. Well explained, engaging and very welcoming, our guide Margaux was a true pleasure during the tour. Highly recommended.

We came to do a tour of the Chateau and wine tasting, everything was amazing. The chateau is beautiful as well as the vineyards and our guide was even better. We spent some time with Margaux, she explained us history, how the wine is made and explained us a lot about how to wine taste. She was really nice, sweet and caring. Definitely it is an experience we recommend and we had such a great time!!!

The touring is great, unfortunately the wines are not very easy to drink. (Maybe it’s just personal preference) But lots of history here in the vineyard which I appreciated

Château Olivier Grand Cru Classé Pessac-Leognan Beautiful architecture and a good wine. 60 hectares Red: 50% Cab Sauv, 48% Merlot, 2%Petit Verdot, no more Cab Franc. White: 70% S.B., 28% Semillion, 2% Muscadelle. Owner: the Jean- Jacques de Bethmann family. Banker in N.Y. Tour €10 per person. Its a very good value for money.

I highly recommend this castle! We had a private visit with the guide + a "dégustation" for 10€, it totally worth it! Initially the tour should be around 1 hour, it lasts 1 and a half hour for us. We tasted 2 wines : 1 red (10 years old) and 1 white (4 years old).

We had a tour this morning, very informative and enjoyable, the estate is immaculate and the wine is great!
