In case anybody is driving along the A10 and wondering where to stop for lunch like we were, look no further than this adorable spot. There is not much to do or see in Châtellerault, but you can have a nice post-meal promenade along the pretty river. Now, to the restaurant: we don’t eat meat and it’s true that most of the menu is not vegetarian, but our gracious host gave us two delicious dishes with couscous. It was very good and was just what we needed. But what made our visit very special was the hospitality. We arrived with our fussy 3-month old baby who needed to be fed. Our host saw that we were tired and hungry and offered to hold and feed our baby while we ate! We were so surprised and happy. Thank you!

Amazing authentic morrocan food and very big portions with great prices around 12euros per person. The owner was lovely. I recommend all to come visit and eat.

De passage a Châtellerault pour le travail, je conseille fortement ce restaurant. La cuisine est juste magnifique, l'accueil également... Après avoir passé 12 semaines clairement l'adresse que je recommande. Prix abordables, sourire garantie, et surtout un repas copieux et surtout délicieux. Donc n'hésitez pas une seconde. Couscous... Tajine... Tout est bon. Bonne continuation, et a bientôt je l'espère
