Kevin, who runs the Mbs Roofing (and renovation) business near Carcassonne, has been working on projects in our little house there for several years. They include the facade, the creation (from the shell of an old adjacent property) of a spectacular new space, renovation of our bathroom and, most recently, the complete refresh and repair of our shutters and external doors. Kevin has consistently done work of the highest quality, with a real sense of sympathy for the traditional look we wanted to achieve. We have been happy to leave him to work with our property during our absence and always returned to find work completed to impeccable standards. We really cannot recommend this enterprise too highly - reliable, trustworthy and thoroughly professional. I'm sure we shall be returning to him in the future.

M. Moulard did an excellent job of installing rigid fencing around our garden. He also removed a number of trees for us. The fence is still looking like new five years later

His attention to detail regarding the issue, the required materials, and the quotation was clear and easy to understand. Despite me being in the UK at the time, communication was excellent throughout, primarily via WhatsApp. He provided regular updates, including photos, videos, and drone footage to clearly illustrate the areas requiring work. Before beginning the project, he supplied a detailed and transparent quote, outlining exactly what the work would involve. Due to storm Nils this week we have experienced a lot of damage on our land and, in particular, on the roof of our house. We contacted Mr Kevin Moulard, of Mbs Roofing Work South France, asking for urgent help to secure the roof. The response to my message was prompt and the following day he came and carried our emergency repairs on the roof by replacing ridge tiles and installing a temporary tarpaulin. We are extremely impressed with their communication and the quality of their work. We would recommend this company.

In the period between 2020 and 2022, M. Moulard did beautiful work in my old village house in the Aude Valley. We asked him to extend our house to include an old storehouse that was adjacent to it, and to transform the storehouse into a living room. M. Moulard did all of the building work himself, using traditional methods. He salvaged a collection of beautiful tiles from the storehouse, and used them to create a distinctive mezzanine floor. He connected the storehouse to the original house by making a doorway in the old wall. He had to penetrate a wall of stones and clay, nearly half a metre thick! He cleared all the rubble away himself, and left everything tidy and clean. The work was all done to a beautiful standard, and we cannot now remember the house without this spacious new room. I strongly recommend M. Moulard. He is friendly and polite, and an excellent craftsman.

In 2018 Mr Moulard and his company MODERN BÉTON SYSTEM carried out work on our garden wall. He raised and stepped the garden walls, installed railings, rendered the garden side in Pierre and the street side in Grey and slanted the top so rain runs off onto the street. The work was carried out to a very high standard, the quote provided was very competitive and did not change during the works. There was constant communication on progress by phone and through pictures so I was always informed and as a result there were never any surprises. I was able to request smaller specifics like colours and the slanting of the top of the wall during the works which were accommodated without a problem. Now, 7 years later it still looks as if the work was done only a few weeks ago as you will see in the picture. So I can highly recommend MBS as I am sure they will do an excellent job.

I first employed Kevin to carry out a major project repairing several yards of old, very high stone retaining wall .Having deconstructed the wall Kevin excavated the land behind, built a reinforced block wall in its place which was then faced with the original local stone. An impeccable job. More recently I had no hesitation in taking him on again to carry out repairs and cosmetic improvements to the walls of our exposed stone house. Again, I am delighted with the results. Kevin is a cooperative and cheerful worker who speaks good English and carefully explains everything he is doing. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others for projects of a. similar nature.
