The owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and if you are not French-speaking, he will happily speak with you in perfect English. I have visited this store on several occasions in search of something a little extra special, either for myself or for someone else, and each time I go I always find the perfect gift. If you are in search of an olive oil, vinegar, salt or pepper that will pair perfectly with your cuisine, the owner can guide you through which products will best suit your needs. To ensure you find something you like, he will give you a sample of whatever you want to try so you are sure to love it before you buy it. He also carries a variety of olive-wood serving trays, serving bowls, oil/vinegar bottles, and handmade soaps, lotions, etc., all made in France. As a bonus, many of the products are easily packable and he will also gift wrap your item! If you are visiting Lyon, live here, and/or looking for a special French-made gift for your loved ones, this is the place to come.

Very friendly owner who is clearly very passionate about the shop. I spoke very very little french and he was very happy to speak to me in English and made me feel very welcome. Even though I came at a very busy time, he still made me feel like a valued customer as I wondered around browsing. Great shopping experience, amazing products, only wish I got to buy them all!

They make fantastic flavored olive oils (since 1822!) and wonderful gourmet gifts. They also carry Provence D'Antan, one of my favorite foodie brands. Stop by and ask for a tasting!

Belle découverte du magasin grâce au responsable de la boutique. Lors de cette visite j’ai pu déguster pas moins d’une dizaine de variétés d’huile d’olive et de vinaigres de différents fruits. Une mention spéciale pour l’huile d’olive à la truffe blanche qui m’a tout particulièrement conquise. Ce fût un véritable voyage gustatif que j’ai fortement apprécié.
