The food here was wonderful, however the service was terrible. Our waitress was not only rude, but only came by when we ordered and paid. No drink refills were offered. She was very rude when it came to the bill. The atmosphere is nice, and like I said, the food was wonderful, but the terrible service and lack of friendliness and attentiveness from the waitresses is what makes this place nonreturnable.

Dining at Le Coq in Paris was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with great attention to flavor and presentation. One of the highlights of the meal was the Sebas fish, which was cooked perfectly—tender, fresh, and full of rich flavor. The restaurant’s ambience was equally impressive. The space was very clean, comfortable, and elegant, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure everything was just right throughout the evening. Dessert was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The French toast and the pavlova were both amazing—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Each bite had a wonderful balance of sweetness and texture that made it hard to stop eating. Overall, Le Coq delivers an exceptional dining experience with excellent food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. It’s definitely a place worth visiting when in Paris.

I used to dine at the Wilson next door, but those days are over since I experienced Le Coq. The menu offers plenty of choice. We were with a large group and everyone ordered something else from the menu. But each dish was delicious and looked very pretty and fresh. The service was outstanding. The wines tasty. Only the €22 Raspberry & Strawberry dish was a bummer: we expected a clever dish from the chef but got a bowl of raspberries & strawberries with whipped cream 😭 but super tasty as well 😂 we will be back!

It may be unfair, as I am not used to French cuisine, but the salad tasted like I was eating grass and weeds. Ham and cheese sandwich was possibly the nicest I have eaten. Salmon tartare was ok. Food was prepared at a decent speed, but once served, there was no further interaction with server, and had to flag down someone to be even able to pay the bill. I’m glad we only needed the 1 drink.

We had dinner here after a visit to the Eiffel Tower. Outside patio is beautiful . Our server Chris was super friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and of high quality. Wine list has options for every budget.

This restaurant is for sure on my list of favorite ones in Paris. It is strange how quickly they distribute the food from kitchen but I guess due to popularity of some meals they have them ready in some stage. Food was nice and I can't complain. I would love if the stake was a bit juicy but even this is good enough.

We enjoyed everything that we ordered. Definitely will be returning to eat here when we visit Paris again.

We had an amazing experience during our European trip. The cocktails were excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was fast and very professional. A special thank you to Mathias for his outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout the evening. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend this place!
