Such a beautiful place with an incredible view and atmosphere we ate perfectly! all of the dishes were delicate and tasteful ! it was a very gourmet experience! we had a pleasant evening and will be back i recommend booking in advance
This place is an absolute gem. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation, the location, and above all, the hospitality of the owner and the staff (all English-speaking). From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness were there. The owner took a genuine interest in us during our stay and helped us plan our days each morning with suggestions for beautiful hikes and cycling routes (tips: La Tonnaz - Plan de l’Aar for hiking and Cormet du Roseland for cycling). And then there's the restaurant - what the kitchen and staff deliver is truly unmatched. Using local ingredients (all suppliers < 50k away), they create the most delicious dishes, always served with a smile. There’s even live music on a regular basis, which adds to the unforgettable atmosphere. Our recommendation: don’t just book for a day - go for the full experience and stay a week (we stayed for five days), or at the very least, enjoy and go to the restaurant. Thank you, Le Toi du Monde, for the fantastic days! Ruud and Lotte from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Le Toi du Monde is a great restaurant which was very busy during the new year period but less so at other times. The menu contains a mixture of local specialties and modern French dishes. You access the restaurant up a narrow and winding road which and the building is located a short distance above the valley floor. The prices will be around 75 per person a la carte or their are fixed menu as at 39€ and 45€ for a three course meal. The service was excellent. And the staff spoke some English although the menu was only in French. Not a problem if you speak some French or are willing to use Google translate. I can recommend the veal bone marrow as an appetiser and the veal chops with pasta and salad was excellent.
Really cool place hidden in-between villages. Amazing architecture, from an old farm to a warm interior design. Loved it. Great menu at a fairly price. They put the emphasis on fair agriculture and locally-sourced products so you know what's in your plate. The little plus is how nicely you are welcomed by the couple owning the place.
Amazing food! A must do if you’re in the area, everyone is lovely and the chalet is welcoming and lovely. Overall fabulous.
Fabulous meal! Very friendly service, delicious food. We liked it so much we’re going back again tonight!
The beef was very poor but the starter was nice. We’ve returned the main but still were charged for it. Don’t think that we will come back again.
An absolutely wonderful restaurant. Friendly staff and excellent dishes.
