The food is best ever I tried on, I’m living upper west side, Manhattan, NYC; I tried so many India food before, like in Milan. This restaurant provides tasty food, highly recommend nann and chicken, the drink mango lassi You will never regret!
This food was one of the best meals we had in Old Nice and that’s really saying something. We ended up going back a second time for our last meal. Got chicken butter cream and lamb curry for our mains and used the garlic naan we ordered to scoop up remaining sauce. Finally we had mango and rose lassi and they were also so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend if you want top tier Indian food in the area.
I’ve travelled through Thailand, Japan and France over the past month and this is the best meal I’ve ever eaten. The food was so good that I actually walked into the kitchen personally to thank the chef. I mentioned that I have Indian heritage through my great grandparents and, hand on heart, this was the best Indian meal I’ve ever had. Every part of the meal was outstanding. The flavours, the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into the cooking were incredible. Thank you to the chef and the whole team for such a memorable experience. If I’m ever back in Nice, this will be my first stop.
We had dinner here and the food was genuinely good, confirmed by my Indian friends. It’s also veggie-friendly, though you might need to ask for some adjustments, but they were very accommodating. We ordered a few dishes to share and everything was solid. Now for the spice level, we ask for ours to be spicy, we were told that it would be 3 star spicy. Out of how many? Three? Five? Ten? We may never know. It was okay, not the kind of heat we were expecting but we felt something. It was a decent level of spicy. At least my white-washed Indian friend, got a “white level spicy.” The atmosphere was nice, the service was good, but the music? Could have been better. If they had played Dosa Idly Sambar Chutney Chutney, it would have been an instant 5-star experience. Just saying. Would I come back if I’m ever in Nice? Yes. Would I still be wondering about the three-star spice rating? Also yes.
We had 4 naans, both options of rice and 3 chicken curry dishes. We reserved on the same evening and were well received with a generous table for 3 people. The atmosphere was light and warm, with full tables but it didn't feel cramped. The food was the best quality Indian cuisine we've found in Nice, the only points for improvement would be larger portions (particularly the rice) and the cheese naans weren't quite as incredible as everything else we'd been served. I'd really recommend this place, it's a lovely place to dine in.
WOW this place did not disappoint. Fantastic flavoured Chicken Tikka Masala. Naan bread fresh and delicious. The staff were genuinely friendly and were happy to speak English. I could not have been happier with the whole experience.
We ordered ginger chai but it was nowhere close to authentic Indian chai. It tasted more like ginger boiled in water with powdered milk/creamer added on top, rather than proper milk tea. Quite disappointing—perhaps the restaurant isn’t run by Indians.
So divinely delicious, really stands out! Everything we tried was so tasty: saag paneer, biryani, tandoori chicken, halwa, kalfi, massala chai... the staff was very friendly and the ambience so pleasant and cosy. Like a warmly tucked enjoyable nest...
