We get there by the Michelin book 📕 And believe me is worth it every one km drive to there! Super nice place with amazing food and staff 🙏🙏🙏 We make lunch after we go to st tropes and we go back for dinner you can’t find better places believe me!
We had the most delicious dinner. Top quality and the vest truffles from tje Piamont , ever . Great non pretentious atmosphere and fantastic service . Highly recommended. If you can buy the chef’s book available at the restaurant and make sure Thierry the chef signs it for you .
We had a wonderful dinner at La Grange des Agapes, in a setting that felt both relaxed and intimate—the perfect balance for a gastronomic evening without formality. We chose the Lobster & Vegetables tasting menu, which included five well-composed courses: amuse-bouche, starters, a pasta course, main, and dessert. Every dish was good, but the lobster-focused menu stood out for its flavor depth. Starters and desserts were the most creative and surprising. The cuisine is precise, well-balanced, and beautifully plated—not fine dining in the strictest sense, but very close to it. Flavors complemented each other thoughtfully and everything showed care in execution. The service was friendly but attentive, with smooth communication in English (and some French). A lovely touch was the personal presentation at the table by the chef himself. The wine selection was excellent, with a strong focus on local and mostly organic wines—something we truly appreciated. Overall, this was our best dinner in the Saint-Tropez area in terms of food, ambiance, and value. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meal that’s refined, flavorful, and personal—without being overly formal or overpriced.
The food blew my mind! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. What a talented chef and team. They should charge more for their food. Also, the chef comes out to you to see how you are enjoying the food - such care and humility. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
We visited Friday 28 th June for dinner and were treated to a very warm and friendly welcome. The restaurant was offering a “homages to homard” set menu for €50 which was outstanding in every way. The first course (of 4) was lobster bisque that was just superb. The second course was the most divine ravioli I had ever tasted followed by a Thermidor. Simply outstanding French cuisine at its best.
Why were we staying in Cogolin? Couldn’t tell you. Ate here at the recommendation of the host of our air b&b and had the most remarkable gastronomic experience. 5 courses of asparagus themed dishes and each one more exciting than the last. Spent 10 minutes in revered silence contemplating the impossible desert. So understated but a team so invested in the experience of its patrons. You can feel the dedication. Please visit Cogolin and please please come here.
Our favorite restaurant, even if we have to drive a bit to get to the place: No plastic menu that changes every two year (at best) - but an enormeous repetoir of dishes. Most times we go for lunch - the set menu is ALWAYS very good value and we have hardly ever eaten a repeat dish. Yesterday I had the shellfish menu; very creative, original and of course; very, very good. This is food art at a very decent price. We cannot praise Thierry, Alain and the rest of the staff high enough. Just go!
This place was a good experience for us. They were very polite, helping us with the menu and changing one recipe to meet our tastes. And, at the end of the evening, the chef came to ask if everything was ok. Very good food and services at the right price. Compliments!
