Avis
Located in a quiet area, hotel is old but still nice, rooms are ok with all the general details. My room had a small terrace outside. |The staff are very nice and helpful. Wifi worked well |It is a good hotel in terms of value for money. |
Although it's a little far out . They are improving transport too. . this hotel was amazing. Service, food , rooms . Staff There is a swimming pool. But the owner is changing the position of it apparently. Not sure why, seems like a mistake to me. But if it is aesthetically dine , it will be great , as the old pool surroundings are amazing and situation great.
Poor service, terrible smelling room, under construction, no pool as advertised, far away from Nice, no restaurant at the hotel, dirty towels, mold in shower, no air conditioning in the room, thin walls, probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
We stayed at this hotel, but unfortunately it did not meet our expectations at all. Although we had booked for two nights, we could only stay for one. The hotel is quite far from the city center, and the photos online are very misleading. The images are taken from good angles and with filters, but the actual room looked nothing like them. The room was very old, and the bathroom felt more like one you'd find in a hostel. There was no space to properly open a suitcase — we had to use the floor — and there was no fridge in the room either. A strong unpleasant smell came from the hallway, and the carpet in the room was very dirty. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with our stay and would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
Hôtel Promotel is a decent choice for short trips, offering affordability among the nicer hotels in the area. The check-in process is straightforward, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. While the rooms are simple, mine was surprisingly spacious. However, if you're exploring Nice, it's a bit of a drive, around 20 minutes from the city center and 14 minutes from the airport. The room features a nice balcony, air conditioning, and a separate toilet from the bathroom. Though there's no fridge in the room, it's not a major issue. The hotel also boasts a decent-sized pool, a pleasant bar, and while the restaurant is on the pricier side, it offers a good experience overall. Transportation to/from Nice is necessary, but overall, it's a really nice place to stay, especially for groups of five like ours.
The staff was really kind, breakfast is really generous. The location was appropriate and free parking is nice, however the rooms could definitely use some refurbishment and care as it feels a bit run-down in general, I have seen better value for price in this range.
The rooms were fine, but the attention of the staff, terrible. At breakfast, we were treated badly.
Not a bad place to stay for short trips. Easy check-in and friendly staff. Rooms are bit simple but the one I had was spacious enough. Didn't try their food or breakfast. Overall good place to stay when you are here to visit Carros industrial area. I'd skip this if you are visiting Nice. It is around 20/25 minutes drives from Nice City center.
