Very welcoming host, beautiful house with amazing view in Cilaos. Such a pleasure to stay here and enjoy the fresh air of the mountains. We really appreciated the breakfast preparation, so nice and caring. The separated kitchen for guests use was very useful and well equipped with fridge and kitchen utensils. We highly recommend this place, we went several times and we have always been warmly welcomed by William and Gabrielle. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean and tidy, even luxurious. Breakfast is great with viennoiserie and fresh bread from Cilaos. No dinner though but a pizzeria nearby is really convenient otherwise Cilaos with all its restaurants but you need a car. It is a 5 * with no hesitation

If you are reading this review then you know that the Reunion Isle is a long way to go and you need a good reason to visit. Trekking around the huge crater at Cilaos is one good reason, staying at this house should be the second.||After the stunning trip up from the coast with 400 corners and single lane tunnels you need to relax before making you trekking plans out of the crater which surrounds the community.||Gabrielle and William are a lovely young couple who work really hard to make you feel welcome. They offer rooms in a creole style house which is in a small hamlet near Cilaos. The house is simply furnished and spacious. As we were travelling in a group of two couples we had bathroom and toilet sharing rooms. Plenty of room and clean. We decided to take up the evening meal option which was varied and copious with local fresh produce and local drinks. Gabrielle explained all about the food and here cooking was excellent.||As we left after three days we felt that we were leaving friends and the stay here certainly ranks as one of the high spots in our holiday.||Reunion is special. So is this charming hotel with such amazing hosts.

It's clean and not bad for the price and the owner/manager is quite kind. However, might be worth looking elsewhere. The place has no internet - strong recommend for the owner to get this. Also, the breakfast was literally a piece of bread. Raise the price 5 euros a night and put out a legitimate breakfast - we would have been more than ok with that.

Cozy place with very warm welcome. Great base to visit the Circus and to go walking (for example, to Piton des Neiges)!

Super séjour chez William! La maison est superbe avec un jardin très agréable et une vue magnifique. La chambre était spacieuse et très confortable. William nous a accueilli chaleureusement, il connaît Cilaos parfaitement et peut donner de très bons conseils pour les randonnées. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des produits locaux. Le petit plus, c'est qu'il y a une cuisine accessible aux clients.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet établissement pour nous permettre d'être au plus proche du bloc pour effectuer l'ascension du Piton des Neiges.||||Bras-sec est un petit village très calme, si vous voulez manger quelque part, il faut aller à Cilaos à moins de 10 minutes en voiture.||La maison est idéalement située, à quelques kilomètres de plusieurs départs de randonnées.||||Elle est très jolie et le propriétaire William est un hôte très accueillant, simple et gentil qui prend le temps de raconter ses expériences et qui aime partager l'amour de son île. Notre séjour fut authentique et dépaysant.||||La salle du petit déjeuner est assez grande. Une grande table pour tout le monde mais chacun à son petit panier remplis de bons produits.||||La chambre, à l'étage est très cosy, spacieuse et propre et une fois sous la couette, vous ne sentirez plus le froid. Au pire, il y a un radiateur. ||Par contre un sèche-cheveux serait appréciable.||Elle manque peut-être un peu d'isolation.||Le petit balcon est un plus appréciable pour admirer les montagnes dont le majestueux Piton des Neiges.||||L'extérieur est également très joli. Le jardin comprend différents espaces de détente et la vue est splendide.||||C'est une très bonne adresse que nous recommandons.||Alors oui, il fait un peu froid et la salle de bain est un peu humide mais ces petits points négatifs sont compensés par la chaleur de nos hôtes.

Très belle chambre d hôte, spacieuse, propre et petit déjeuner très copieux. William s est toujours montré disponible pour nous renseigner sur les randonnées et nous parle avec passion de son île. Située dans un cadre magnifique et calme. Adresse que je recommande vivement.
