Great place to enjoy any typical Portuguese pastries, Their Bolas de Berlin are really good. If you are waiting for them, you must know that there are two lines, one to take away/to go and one line to sit and enjoy a coffee with a sweet warm and creamy Bola de Berlin.

Best bolo de Belem in Portugal. It took 2 trips from Porto to get them. They sell out quickly!

Without a doubt, the best bolas de Berlim (the Portuguese version of Berliner). What sets them apart from others is their custard (which tastes homemade) and their coating. Usually, bolas de Berlim are coated in sugar, but these are coated in sugar and cinnamon. You can also ask for them without custard. They are best eaten while still warm. To this purpose, you can visit the store at 11h and 16h and get them fresh. The staff is nice. Only cash payments. There is also a small tea room to the side, in which you can sit and take your time enjoying your treat. Enter through the counter room if you want to take your sweets to go and enter through the team room if you want to eat there. A warning: usually very popular (and therefore busy) during the sunnier months.

Pastelaria Natário is famous for its freshly baked bolas de Berlim, warm, soft, and filled just right. The aroma alone draws a queue outside, and it’s worth the wait. A true local classic and an unmissable stop in Viana do Castelo.

Simply the best bolas de Berlim I’ve ever had in my life. They are a little pricey, but they’re so worth it. I think they add brown sugar or cinnamon..? which I had never seen before on a bola, and it was so good! No wonder why this place is always full and the line up starts in the street; if you want to make it on time for fresh bolas before hitting rush hour, your best bets are 9:50am and 3:50pm.

Only the very best. If you think you need to go for the Pastéis de Nata, try all the others! Come at the wrong time and there will be a line for the bolas de berlim. Want to try my favourite? Ask for the Manjericos..

Worth to wait for the best bolos de Berlim. There are really unique and tasty here.

You can not go wrong with this one. Just the perfect "Bola de Berlim". Always happy to go and grab one on the go.
