Our five-night stay at Moulin de l’Abbaye was one of the highlights of our trip to the Dordogne. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly situated in the charming village of Brantôme. What made our stay truly special was the incredible staff. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel less like guests and more like family. We dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant as well as the hotel’s other two restaurants in town, and every meal was exceptional. The food, service, and atmosphere were all unforgettable. The Dordogne has completely captured our hearts, and Moulin de l’Abbaye was a big part of that. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. We cannot wait to return.

We were very well looked after by all the staff who went out of their way to help with mobility problems of one of our group - with especial commendation to. NIcholas who sorted out a forgotten case with great efficiency on a late Sunday evening, and which arrived the next morning!We can’t thank him enough!||The hotel is absolutely charming, with the restaurant terrace by the water wheel and weir, and bistro Fil de l’eau by the riverside. We stayed in an annex, a short walk or golf cart ride away in a beautifully restored room (more like a suite) in the Abbots House, and a balcony overlooking the river.||Thoroughly recommended!

What a fabulous hotel! Classy without being snobby. Our room overlooking the river was stunning, the staff were absolutely amazing, and as for the meal in the restaurant... no words! We felt welcome and at home. If you're considering staying here, stop thinking and just book it!

We had a wonderful stay at Le Moulin de L’Abbaye. Our room had a terrific view of the river, it was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. One of the best stays we’ve had in a hotel in France! Top notch, thanks very much! Highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. But, what truly stood out was the staff. At the front desk, at breakfast, and in the fabulous restaurant—everyone was so welcoming and helpful. This is one of the places that is worth the hype.

Just Perfect, excellent and attentive service, breakfast on the terrace is a must and surprisingly good value.

4.5/5 stars. Beautiful hotel in an excellent location overlooking lake and bridge. Brantôme is a gorgeous town which is on the doorstop. The room was clean, spacious and smelt great! The Michelin star surprise meal was delicious comprising of interesting meals paired with outstanding wine. The only criticism was not being allowed to have breakfast outside (albeit sunny and 22 deg.)
