Im surprised thos hotel does not have a higher TripAdvisor rating!||Had a family room which is in the top tower looking over the beach. Spacious room, clean and well-apponted. Small but adequate bathroom. Nice touch of box of games and toys for children. Fabulous view over the beach. We stayed during the heatwave and the room was warm but this was exceptional. Comfortable beds and slept well.||Yes there are only stairs but it is an old building which is full of history.||The breakfast was slightly pricey but served in a wonderful dining room and a good selection of local pastries, cheese and yogurts etc.||We booked the secure parking but probably could have easily parked on the road.||We loved the hotel, particularly for its character. Staying in one of Ouistreham's old villas was a treat.||The hotel is in easy walking distance of the beach, town and port making Ouistreham a great little break if crossing the Channel as a foot passenger.||Ouistreham is a lovely town which I think many people just drive straight through when leaving the port.||I would happily go back!||Accept the hotel as the old historic building it is and dont expect lifts and porters.

As i stayed here in 2024 with my Cousin and we said we would return in the future, Its a small family run Hotel right on the shore line and close to many restaurants and Museums, The rooms are basic but have all you need, nice large bed and shower over the bath, other rooms might have a different set up, cleaners in every day and they keep the Hotel spotless, No Restaurant only a bar service up to early evenings so it's not a Hotel to drink into the late evening, plenty of places to drink out only a short walk away, It has it's own secure private car park (bookable in advance) and a garden to sit out in the evening, If you like a quite Hotel with no frills this is the place to stay, Melinda and Julien pride themselves with the running of the Hotel and are always around during the day if needed, The Continental breakfast is one of the best i have had in Northern France as all the food is sourced locally and delivered daily, local farms provide the meats and cheese, breads are baked locally and delivered fresh to order, They do everything they can to to save waste and help the Environment, We will return in the near future later on in the year, Alan and Josephine.

Beautifully renovated villa. Interesting history. We arrived by ferry and chose to walk to the hotel which took about 15 minutes. Very easy to find. The receptionists were absolutely delightful and very accomodating. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful view of the back garden area and the view of the town form our window was charming and romantic. The hotel was very quiet and we had an exquisite stay. All of our requests were met with smiles and I just can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was. The hotel, itself, was located by several amazing historical attractions and just a quick stroll from the beach. Conveniently located by lovely shops, bakerys, cafes, and restaurants. We will definitely book again when we return to Ouisterham. Highly recommend for couples looking for a romantic get away.

This hotel is a converted very old house - the decor is dated - staff friendly - room on 2nd floor up what must have been the back stairs - no lift - room awful - very small - needs a good clean - basic - breakfast ok usual fare - |One night - breakfast - car parking €180 |I wouldn’t recommend - location like near hotels is great ! It’s a real pity sorry to say we would not stay here again - those who have given 5star ratings either have lower standards or had much better rooms than ours - |44 steps up to our room with cases - really I would expect more and so should you .

We always said we would return after our first visit in 2024 and we have,|Melinda and Julien are perfect hosts and run this Hotel perfectly,|They pride themselves in looking after the environment and zero waste,|Perfect continental breakfast supplied from local farms and bakeries and the taste shows,|Rooms are basic but functional with a large bed, TV on the wall, my room had a shower over bath, the heating is by electric radiator and set,|There is no late bar or restaurant, they will make pizza if required,|The afternoon pot of tea is something different, as per the photo,|This is a Hotel to relax in with no frills and sitting looking out of the panoramic windows overlooking the landing beach during the day, it's a Hotel to explore out and about and not for sitting in,|Load's of local restaurants nearby down the main street and a couple of Museums, one just over the road,|There is no lift due to the Villa being old and historic,|We will return in the future,|Alan|Secure parking on site,

An excellent night’s stay for six guys visiting Normandy. Melinda welcomed our late arrival and being only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal at Ouistreham, Villa Andry is perfectly situated. The breakfast was delicious too.

With its strategic location, private secure parking, late entry accepted with prior arrangement, 7.00 a.m. (excellent) breakfast enabling one to catch the 8.30 ferry (7.45 a.m. latest check-in at the port), caring staff, enclosed garden at hotel guests' disposal, what more could one want for an over-night stay or a few days relaxation just metres from Ouistreham's beach

We only stayed one night as we had taken the ferry from Portsmouth and arrived quite late. We were cordially welcomed and went up to our room. It was spotlessly clean and after a nice hot bath fell into a comfortable firm bed and had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice, a choice of fresh pastries, toast, crepes along with cheese and sliced ham. Also on offer was yogourt as well as boiled eggs and cereals. Top it all off with lovely coffee and juice. We certainly enjoyed our short stay and would recommend this hotel highly
