SERRURERIE DUVAL

This company tried to charge my neighbor $500 to unlock her door, even though the job took less than a minute. Initially, the technician claimed the door would need to be broken open. However, he then unlocked it using what appeared to be a simple liquid and a piece of paper. After arguing about the price, she was able to get the charge reduced to $100, which raises serious questions about the original quote. Even in cities with a much higher cost of living, such as Zurich, prices like this would be difficult to justify for such a simple service. Taking advantage of someone in a stressful situation—especially a young woman locked out of her home—is unacceptable. The pricing felt misleading and predatory. I would strongly encourage others to get a quote in writing before agreeing to any work and to consider alternative locksmiths.
