Free parking at a great vista for overlooking the sea. There are plenty of bunkers and WW2 history here. There are some plaques with information. It’s a short trail around the coast guard station where you can view the sea. Great for a walk, jog or trek.
Really nice place - just look over the sea - and thinking about anything in silence. Great and worth to visit it!
Stunning scenery, quite a small light house. Unfortunately no access as it is a military zone. Much evidence of WW2 German occupation, many parts of the mur atlantique still visible. Beautiful walk around the headland, well worth doing for the views of the ocean.
Tells the story of the resistance and the French who helped the alied forces with the bunkers as a backdrop.
There is a phare, a semaphore, and also a battery part of the past Atlantic Wall. Access to the first two seem to be reserved to French army.
Beautiful lookout and historic site.
Beautiful spot
Lovely spot. Good walking or just sit and enjoy the views. Parking is good but will fill quickly on warm days. No where to eat but you pass many restaurant in the drive up through the port.
