We spent the day at the beach. The prices were unrealistic compared to the service you got, 50€ for a sunbed with no towels you had to pay extra, it was almost impossible to order drinks the employees were never there. The pizza was straight out of the freezer, they served the cola with no ice or lemon and the food was just awful and terribly overpriced. The view was good but the sunbeds uncomfortable and hard to sit in. Overall, overpriced for the service and food you get it isn’t worth it at all, would never return.
Beautiful family run hotel in a beautiful location with super helpful and friendly staff. The views from the rooms are fantastic. We don’t eat so can’t comment on the food.
We wanted to stay for a night 🌙 and decided to check the vibe first. We arrived and each had breakfast. I was a bit disappointed by how bad the orange juice was. The coffee was really 👌, but the rest was not worth 22€ each. We were there very early, around 8:30, and wanted to relax on the sunbeds. However, a staff member with a very bad attitude told us they were for hotel guests only. The area was completely empty as you can see from my second picture. I got very annoyed and wanted to leave, and in my haste, I forgot my sunglasses 👓. I called the hotel, but they said they couldn't find them, even though you can see them in the photo with the white cover. That was the last time I saw them. A tip for the staff: Please speak with a gentle voice and attitude, especially in the morning. I tried to explain that we just wanted to relax for 5 minutes and then leave, but he said no, which I would understand if there had been any other guests around.
This is one of those places that you almost want to keep as a secret. It is beautifully situated on the ocean, providing a fantastic view of the Mediterranean. The style of the hotel is exclusive, but at the same time it manages to retain a relaxed atmosphere. It is family run, and the friendly staff are always on hand to help you find a good restaurant, or a cold drink. The rooms are spacious and in excellent condition. On the ocean side of the hotel there is a spacious sun deck, with a well stocked bar. There is also a water-sport center, with powerboats and tubes. Something about the atmosphere gives you a sense of total relaxation, and gives you that true holiday feeling. This place is truly the hidden pearl of the French Riviera.
This review is for the beach club only !! - not 5 star service, not even a 3 star. Was hard to even find someone to help us during the day. - food was terrible - the deck is good in theory but became packed and you had to walk around chairs and umbrellas while balancing on a deck over the water - jellyfish galore in the water that go away around 4 pm. But you can’t swim all day. I’m giving it some stars because it’s beautiful waters and views. You can stand the entire time in the water which is nice. Overall, so many better options while in the area than this place.
Fantastic location for grown ups, no kids today, great lunch.|We have come here for 16 years.|Airconditoned room, secure parking. |Very friendly staff, aduld guest.|Very quiet and a great trip is awaiting you around Cap D’antibes. Wear good shoes
We spent 10 marvellous days in the Baie dOree.||||It was like being in a (very good) dream.||||It’s in a quiet beautiful bay - with a wonderful view across the ocean to Nice (approx 35km away).||||We took a beautiful suite - 2 bedrooms and bathrooms with a nice size lounge and a beautiful balcony - terrific for meals especially in the evening.||||The hotel is family run and that makes all the difference. Everyone is incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be nice to us and especially the kids. Very down to earth and ideal for families looking for relatively reasonably priced option as compared to the very nice but incredibly expensive and swanky hotels in the area.||||Lovely swimming options. A clean outdoor swimming pool with amazing views over the bay. Plenty of space to take a lounger either by the pool or on the sun deck / terrace. ||And then better yet an amazing bay to swim in. Massive roped off area for swimmers to paddle, swim, Gawp at the yachts or boats moored nearby or simply to pose in - I’d estimate 250m x 100m of water to swim in! Fabulous. (Though mind those days where there are jellyfish. Fortunately not many while we were there.)||||The hotel is in a nice quiet area of the Cap. But only a 10 minute drive from Juan les Pins, and approx 45 mins from Nice.||||Highly recommended. We hope to go back. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
A group of us stopped by to use the pool and have lunch and although it wasn’t planned Corrine and the team couldn’t do enough for us. The pool was lovely as is the access to the sea. We used their sun loungers, they got us towels and drinks, lunch etc. |You can tell it’s a family run hotel as it has that personal touch. Such a great location I hope to return!
