It was awesome buying a sofa at BUT and getting the But card for free delivery with a small truck, and Hivana was super helpful. She was really nice and smiley, explained us everythint really well just what you want from someone helping you out. Editing my review after getting in touch with the Département de depôt behind the main shop. Our order was preparer by Alazhar (as per the screen) but not sure as they don't have the name badge. The person was not just mean to me but on a different occasion but same day (as we bought two different things the same day) also to my friend Marlène Bourgeais (she's got a but card) who went to collect her stuff. While Hivana was great even that second time when she saw us at the counter, that guy was again mean and super rude to my friend Marlene. So please make sure that all your staff are in a mood to work as Hivana does. She should be manager if she's not already one.

The furniture I have acquired has a defect, I reached out to client services who offer to take it back against a voucher. The couch has been taken back and still no news of a voucher more than 12 days after. They are not reachable on the phone and no longer respond to emails. THANK YOU CHRIS for your swift reply but absolutely NO ONE is answering either through the form nor through social networks. A pity that you are not covering these channels or that you manifestly cannot help me. :/
bought an electric cooker from But, and they told me that it had a two-year warranty, and after two months of using it, the cooker burned out, and when I called them to change it, they have been delaying from one appointment to another until now for more than six months, and they did not send an engineer to inspect the problem in the cooker in order to exchange it for a replacement. The service is very bad and they are dishonest in their dealings
The employees are extremely bored, unwilling to help. I was searching for an item that I had seen on their site and it took me more than 30 minutes to find an employee to ask. All of them are chatting and laughing between them, totally ignoring the clients. When you approach them they change direction so as to avoid you. They even got angry that I interrupted their chatting so as to ask for help and two female employees even starting laughing and making fun of my French accent because I am a foreigner. I will surely never visit that shop again.

This is a scam. I ordered 3 furnitures from BUT, but after 3 months have passed, I haven’t received anything. BUT’s customer service calls are expensive but it doesn’t solve the problem. They don’t refund the money on the excuse of the manufacturer’s error. Now we can only go through legal channels, this is a direct crazy robbery!
