Small hotel on the outskirts of town, with secure parking. Rooms are on the upper floors with stair only access. Evening meals are available. The owner was a pleasant women, who speaks good English. Rooms on the top floor are small, and very basic. The room was well presented and clean but there is little room to sit or store luggage. We also found the shower was too small. There was no air con in the room but a small fan was provided. On the whole the room was adequate for a one night stop over.

My wife and I called her for just an overnight stop on our way down south. We were so impressed by the standard of maintenance of both the house and the grounds. Sadly we were too late to sample the restaurant, but after a restful night in a neat and spacious room, breakfast the following morning was excellent. We are determined to return.

We returned to Le Dauphin for the 2nd time in June 2019 (Previously there in 2018), following an excellent meal. It didn’t disappoint this time around either, both times we have sat outside in the garden, a comfortable setting for dinner. The food was marvellous with the service as good as anyone could ask for, all at a great price. An excellent meal all round and would be highly recommended.

We have been breaking our journey from the south back to the Cotswolds in this hotel for over eighteen years and it is now a home from home. What more can I say? Céline has to be the best hotel patronne in France. Love it

Excellent restaurant. Rooms somewhat tired though clean. All in all a pleasant stopover and not overly expensive. Would recommend.

Absolute gem of a place - Le Dauphin. Immaculately clean - very friendly, parking and garden area to the rear. Food exceptional and very reasonably priced .

Very thankful to the owner of this hotel to share toilet with my son during COVID time. Will visit your hotel in the future.
