This is a quiet, clean, inexpensive hotel just off the main road with good parking. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. There is not much nearby other than a few small restaurants, only one of which is open on Sunday, but it is a good place to visit the coastal attractions nearby in larger towns if you have a car. Parking is abundant. Breakfast is served by the charming owner, Ann-Sophie who is very patient and helpful to visitors struggling with French.

You won't find nicer people, so welcoming you feel at home immediately. Thank you for the wonderful stay and laughs. See you next year!!

A delightful **Hotel that we came across because 1. The time of day and 2. we hadn't booked anything in advance on our way south, so we were lucky to get the last room. |The hotel has been decorated very tastefully and very neat - there is a lot of pride here - the hostess Anne was more than helpful and nothing was a problem. We were able to use their shed to put the motorbike out of the impending rain and all in all very obliging. |The hotel is in the bay in Ares and a nice walk to several interesting seafood restaurants in the little fishing port.|The breakfast was the regular continental breakfast, value for money in peak season. We found this place by chance, it was pouring with rain, and we were getting slightly desperate. Owner Anne Sophie was charming, the place was spotless, and the room comfortable, breakfast next morning was also good. Because of the rain we wanted a local restaurant, and the owner recommended a few. We chose the nearest, just around the corner, and as we were leaving, Anne Sophie hurried after us offering an umbrella. Slightly uninteresting surroundings, though that's not the hotel's fault of course, so recommended.

This clean and well run hotel is easy to find and is only a short walk from the sea front. The owners were welcoming and helpful.The room was small and simply furnished but for the money, good value. Well worth a try,especially for one night.

Clean, small and quiet hotel with good atmosphere. Very nice owner, positive energy 😀 She will recommend you best restaurants in town. We spent two nights with kids. Unfortunately only double rooms available what made our stay bit more expensive.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in July.|The owners Nicolas and Anne Sophie were very hospitable and always ready with advice on things to see and do.|We stayed in room 4 (dbl bed, toilet, shower) which was basic and not very large but perfectly adequate for a short stay.|The room did tend to get hot in the evening as it is south-facing.|Contrary to many French hotels we've stayed in, it is peaceful & quiet at night.|Breakfast is basic but varied enough: croissants, coffee, tea, juice, cereals, yoghurt.|Unfortunately there was no fresh fruit.|The hotel is located in a quiet street just off the main road, local restaurants and the Arcachon basin are within walking distance.|We would warmly recommend this hotel to couples on a short stay.
