I've reduced my rating now because I'm really not impressed with the way the staff treat my food purchases during the checkout process. Myself and my wife could not keep up with food actually being thrown down the belt to us. We all have busy lives and tough days sometimes but we the customer are paying wages so treat us with some respect. If it was a one time thing then maybe I could understand but it's every week with different people. I suggest you give your staff some extra training in people skills.

A very decent place. A bit small but it does have a majority of the staples. Prices are very good as I have been there on multiple occasions as I try to figure the city's shopping out. Becoming a bit more adventurous as time goes on (my French is below poor) but everyone has been friendly and welcoming as we practice our language skills on each other.

Good food, good prices and fresh fruit and veg. All the basics you could need at affordable prices. Shop here first before going elsewhere for what they don't stock. Love the fresh bakery section. You can buy a decent red wine for under two euros a litre; they have a good budget end range of wines, other drinks are keenly priced too.

Do not bother shopping here the checkout (cash) staff are extremely aggresive and virtually throw your groceries at you in an attempt to rush you through the checkout payment they are very rude and are clearly in the wrong job (customer service)and the prices and quality of goods is below average ...enjoy your shopping use Intermarche in Confolens .

Friendly service as always

I made a mistake with looking below when the prices were above the shelves. Thought my bill was quite expensive, I checked my receipt and ended up paying almost €9 for deodorant. I know my French is very poor but I had my Google Translate and I tried to explain that I had made a mistake with pricing and I'd like a refund, the manager refunded me but really wasn't very happy in fact a little rude!

Clean newly renovated shop. Easy parking. Don't always have the promos as advertised, so don't go just for them. The New Tills make it very difficult to pack your shopping back into your trolly, and now they seem very under staged. Lots of pallets blocking the isles and impossible to get at 3 freezer cabinets. I don't think I will be going again.
