One of our favorite museums in Montreal. The mini mondo area is amazing for kids, one of the best we have been to. Super clean and well designed. Loved all the exhibits, super informative and standing up for good and meaningful future causes. They also have great seating areas to pack a picnic including a baby chair within the picnic tables, amazing! We spent a solid 5 hours here and could’ve done more had our 15 month old not pooped out!

The Montréal Science Centre is an engaging and family‑friendly destination that makes science fun and accessible for all ages. Its interactive exhibits encourage hands‑on learning, and the interactive workshops are especially enjoyable, allowing visitors to actively participate in experiments and creative problem‑solving. The IMAX theatre adds an impressive visual experience, and the waterfront location in Old Montréal makes it even more enjoyable to visit. Overall, it’s a great place to spark curiosity and spend a few educational hours.

Fantastic day out for kids up to 14, especially the scientifically minded. Good room for babies with a nursing room. Parking is crazy expensive but if you stay all day and don't mind walking you can take advantage of Old Montreal.

It has different areas dedicated to various topics and appropriate for a range of ages. They are interesting even for adults to try. There are also IMax projections every day. My Children enjoyed the place, but want to leave early.

A small museum with many interactive stuff. However, as a solo traveler, it might not suits you, as there are a lot of family with their kids. You could easily finish exploring the museum for about an hour if you don't have previous background about science. Otherwise, it's a good place to visit and explore.

I will be honest I thought this was gonna be better than it was . There was lots of school children in there . We went around it but was not impressed with what I saw for the money I spent to go in there. The cafe there was the best part of the place sorry to leave a review like this but it could have been better .

Overall, the center is an excellent choice for a family outing, particularly for those with school-aged children who benefit most from the interactive physics and biology displays. While some adults find the permanent content a bit basic for a solo visit, the high-quality temporary exhibitions and the IMAX experience make it a consistently "winning formula" in Montreal's cultural landscape.

For the past 5 years, we went there a few times a year. Recently they add one interactive room on native population. IT'S JUST GREAT. We can spend 1 hour and the haft to just find the hints and discover all the stories behind them. They really work hard to make each visit a very special one. If you want to go there, and enjoy all the activities, be aware that you'll need 3-4 hours. Science have no respect for time 😀😀. So don't be in a rush to attend any other thing after that. Enjoy !
