One of best university to prepare the futur ! Business and resilient mindset - it is also hosting very high quality conferences on hot technology and society topics to understand and shape the next world @dauphine_debat
As someone applying through the Exile procedure, my experience with this university was unfortunately disappointing. I submitted my application to the Peace Studies master’s program after receiving confirmation that I could still apply. I provided all required documents, including proof of my administrative situation, and followed the instructions. However, my application was later rejected for being “late,” even though I acted based on the university’s written guidance. It was also very difficult to get updates. I did not receive any confirmation that my application was received, despite several attempts to follow up. I eventually had to visit the university in person just to check the status. Although the university promotes support for students in exile, I felt there was a lack of concrete follow-up and no support or redirection after the refusal, even though this is something the institution publicly commits to. I’m currently on the waiting list in the regular admission process, which shows my profile was strong enough. It’s unfortunate that the specific support system designed for students like me did not seem to function as intended.
As mentioned in other reviews, this is an extremely overrated university. Stay far, far away if you want to do an English program. ALL communication is in French: information on administration, enrollment, activities, etc. There is a very limited amount of English-speaking teachers and this will strongly limit your specialization choices. In my first week, I was forced to move to different courses than the ones I chose because they were not taught in English any more. As a result, I am stuck with unwanted courses. Books are outdated (I have a course where we HAVE to use the 2006 version of a textbook, while four newer versions have come out) or even in French (for English-taught classes). The teaching style is very similar to elementary or middle school. During some lectures (which are 2x1,5 hours with a 15 min break), it is not allowed to have ANY drinks or food visible. Keeping a closed bottle of water on your table? Not allowed: class will not continue until you remove the bottle. The classrooms are even more outdated than the books used in class. The “amphis” have no ventilation whatsoever and thus smell like mold and sweat (especially after 3 hours with 100 people in one room). This is crazy to me especially considering the health risks of Covid. Other disadvantages of Dauphine vs state-of-the-art schools: - Unstructured classes and schedules: you will have no idea what your planning in 1-2 months will be. - The English version of the website is bad: there is less information and very often outdated information (i.e. only the French version gets updates) - Other digital resources are extremely sloppy and feel cobbled together - Bureaucracy: maybe general to France, but expect to fill in ALL your details at least 5 times, to then get an extremely delayed negative response and request to redo it all Whatever you do, do not go here. It is a complete waste of time and energy.
A prestigious University offering a large choice of conferences and events. I am impressed by the entrepreneurial mindset this institution cultivates. The students are generally highly qualified in the various fields such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics and many more. I largely benefited from Paris Dauphine's high quality teachings and events.
Paris Dauphine University is a Top Business school and University which is ranked among the Best Business Schools in France with the Parisian Grandes Ecoles and highly appreciated by Enterprises (Finances, Entrepreneurship, Management...)
This university gives you the impression of being in high school: follow teachers' rules because they spread the sacred truth. To be avoided if you want to train your critical mind...
Good morning I'll like to ask if economics is taught in English as a bachelor's degree program any. How to go about it.
One of France best economic Universities, campus is quite good for French standards
