Pleasant enough campsite with good food and swimming pool for kids. One thing to bear in mind is keep an eye on your things. We left our electric scooter outside the swimming pool for 30 mins and it got nicked! There’s no barrier stopping anyone coming in or out from the main road if they’re not camping. Gets an extra star though for seeing lots of Hoopoe birds!
Lovely couple of night stay here in early September. Site was really quiet and we had the pool and jacuzzi to ourselves. Receptionist was lovely, offered to provide bread etc in the morning and had a timetable for the free no 7 bus service into Gap. Showers and toilets clean. Well located for cycling the surrounding Col’s. 23 euros a night Inc EHU.
This is a decent, spacious campsite with plenty of space and shade. While the facilities are a bit more tired and older than the photos suggest, it has a relaxed environment and is great for families. Our children loved the playground, trampoline, and waterslides. The woman at reception was very helpful and it was quiet at night. Our children also loved the 4 wild peacocks that roamed around :) It's a good location - just outside of Gap to feel rural; and while there are no real views from the campsite, the surrounding area is gorgeous. I highly recommend a trip up to Les Ecrins National Park, especially Le Lauzon lake if you enjoy hiking. There's an Intermarche nearby to stock up on food.
Welcome very friendly and helpful. Looks like it has once been very nice and luxurious. But not anymore due to lack of maintenance and improvement. Camper service area is a complete joke. Almost impossible to get there. No camper pitches, only grass which becomes slippery when it rains.
What a nice place! We stumbled across this campsite while heading North (this campsite is not far North from Gap).||On our trip we had stayed in quite a few places for the night (7 different locations in all) This Campsite was really one of the better ones and I'll have no issues going back again.||A decent little shop should you need anything which also has baguettes and croissants stocked up in the morning, a nice pub and restaurant (although we didn't eat there)||The showers and toilets were to a good standard.||Generally we had a pleasant stay and I highly recommend it.
Lovely campsite with good facilities and a nice restaurant. However the reception we received on arrival and departure was awful and very upsetting. The lady owner was very rude and abrupt with myself and my children. She was very unhelpful and despite a sign which states they speak both English and French she clearly does not at times want to understand or speak English. She would speak it when it suited her to. We felt very unwelcome and have never experienced this before in England or France. As a result will not return to this park.
Well maintained, lovely camping spot with nice pool (up a small hill) and even a small outdoor jacuzzi! Very friendly reception.
