2 scams: My car broke down while I was driving through Paris. I called the police to arrange towing, and my car was picked up by Bidel Dépannage. The pickup itself went smoothly, no problems there. Because the car had export plates, I didn’t have roadside assistance insurance, so I had to pay for the towing and repair myself. After the car was taken to their garage, the mechanic told me that the clutch plate was broken and that it would take two days to repair. I told them I didn’t believe the clutch plate was the problem. I suspected it was the clutch fluid. The mechanic reassured me that it was definitely the clutch plate. Scam 1: Without much choice, I let them proceed with the repair. The car worked again afterward, but later I discovered that the clutch plate had never been broken. I had asked to keep the old clutch plate to show my own mechanic at home. When he inspected it, he confirmed that it was completely fine — and that they had likely removed one of the springs to make it look damaged when they showed it to me. Scam 2: The second problem was with the towing cost. When I went to pay, they told me the tow cost over €500. I protested because that price made no sense, and suddenly they lowered it to €180, which was still expensive but I had no choice but to pay. My advice to anyone: if your car breaks down in Paris, be very careful. Ask to be towed to a different mechanic (not one connected to the towing company), make sure you confirm the towing cost in advance, and if they replace a part, ask to keep the old one. What happened to me felt dishonest from start to finish, and I would strongly recommend avoiding Bidel Dépannage if possible. And be very careful of Carlos Rodrigues (at the administration) and Memit (mechanic).

😡😡😡😡😡plus d’1 journée d’attente pour recevoir un document car la secrétaire très despotique et désagréable au téléphone n’arrive pas(plutôt ne veut pas)à bouger de son fauteuil pour scanner à 3 mètres d’elle le doc et faire un envoi!! Biensûre on est vendredi pour que le véhicule passe le week-end chez elle au chaud😉…….on comprend mieux les avis négatifs

ils travaillent pour la fourrière, bon ça, chacun son boulot mais...enlevé ma voiture à 20h (j'étais là) à l'heure où ils sont fermés, je la récupère le lendemain à 10h, ils comptent de 2 jours de gardiennage...et carrosserie aile avant rayée !!!!! Bref...je viens de lire les commentaires, je ne suis pas le seul dans ce cas mais je vais quand même le signaler à la mairie de la ville et au commissariat pour la carrosserie et pour qu'ils regardent les avis ici et pour qu'ils changent de prestataires.

Ce n'est pas agréable de tomber en panne sur l'autoroute mais avec la bonne équipe de dépanneur, ça s'est mieux passé que prévu 🙂 Nous avons été très bien accueilli 😊 Ils ont su répondre à toutes nos questions et cela nous a beaucoup aidé ! Une ARNAQUE ! Dans cette société se sont de vrais ESCROC est malpoli en plus, fouille dans les voitures, la mienne a été complètement retournée à l’intérieur, tarifs exorbitants! C’est a la tête du client, mon assureur me l’a confirmé la Fourrière Bidel sont des gens malhonnêtes et voleurs. A FUIR!
