Its a great beach with white sand, plenty of trees and nice water. For those who like moderate waves is ideal. The beach has a couple of public rest rooms and a couple of showers but in very dirty conditions. Parking is a mess if you arrive after 10 AM and beach restaurants are expensive and offer bad service. Anyway it's my 2nd option of beaches to visit after Anse l'Anne. Recommendations: Arrive early in the morning or after 3PM and carry your food and beverage.
Plage des Salines One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve visited. Wide stretch of white sand, palm trees, and incredible sunsets. It feels very open and natural, perfect for long walks and chilling by the ocean. Definitely a must-see in Martinique. Only downside: watch out for sand flies.
This is a truly gorgeous beach, away from villages but easily accessible by car. There are a couple of restaurants and stalls at one end, and a public restroom. The rest - over 1 km in length - is quiet with much fewer people. Gorgeous views to Diamond rock to the North.
One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Great restaurants and drinks along side. Lots of activities to do- snorkeling, kayak,boating, jetski...
Perfect beach - ample parking space, beautiful scenery, sheltered bay, quiet blue waters.
🚨 BEWARE 🚨 - Drive your own/rented car here just as we did. In the case of transport by taxi, local drivers are nasty and can charge as much as 25 Euro. Loooong and famous, sandy Martinique beach with palm trees and no rocks or algae. Just remember one thing to do when the sea tide is low. Otherwise, there won't be any beach left, since the seawater goes all the way up to the trees. Also, generally, restaurants are open just till 3 PM / 15:00.
Beautiful sandy beach and palm trees. Great place for families with kids.
Absolutely outstanding beach. It is very large and it is not hard to find a remote quiet place despite the amount of people. There are some shuttle from Saint Anne but only in the morning. The hike between Saint Anne and the various beach is quite nice and not difficult.
