Mixed experience. Good location and interesting concept, but the organization and communication were clearly below expectations. We were not allowed to view the cabin before booking, information was often unclear or contradictory (use of rooms, extra costs, check-out), and instructions were missing. Despite paying extra for bedding, it was incomplete, which made the stay unnecessarily uncomfortable. The site has potential, but management and communication need significant improvement.
Fantastic place where the bungalows are very high-quality, excellent service, direct path straight to the beach, best time at sunrise with your coffee in your hands. One of the best place in the world for wind/water sports , sailing Wind surfing and foil. Scuba diving is very popular as well in the calanques. It’s very hot during summer, but the constant wind makes it feel very Pleasant. Went there several times already and enjoying every single time.
This was a lovely campsite and our mobile home was old but clean with mosr things you need and we really liked the decking area which offered shade, a must in June when we visited. The season doesn't start til July so the area was very quiet. The reviews we read before going said that we wouldn't find many English here and they weren't wrong, we were the only ones. Having said this it didn't bother us and everyone was very friendly. The beach was cleaned every day and the sea was ideal for young children as it was very shallow and flat. You can walk in to the marina, along the beach, it took about 45 mins but would recommend getting bikes as it is excellent for cyclists. We loved this area and would return but maybe a bit later in the season.
We went there for the beach. Nice beach with a lot services like kayak, banana boat rides, sailing and paddeling. For a very good price.
The Eurosurf camp is in my opinion one of the few nice places where you can take your wife & kids and enjoy couple fine wind/kite surfing days yourself – usually hard to combine. The campsite as well as the bungalows were clean and well managed with a reception always available. Mostly occupied by French families and couple of Germans and Italians – no party camp, quite at night. You can walk to very nice beach adjacent to the camp, or explore other beaches by boat or kayak. Our bungalow was located further down the camp. We felt we had more privacy there, which we liked. There is a road passing by the camp, where from the terrace of our apartment we could hear the cars a little bit, but after two days I was not bothered by it, as most of the time I was out with the kids on the beach or windsurfing.
We booked a diving session with Jeremy last minute and went on a private session. Honestly the best experience ever. I was a first timer and my husband had only dived once before. He made both of us feel so insanely comfortable. Even though I was a first timer, I had the best time. Jeremy takes care to check in with you on your comfort level throughout the dive and I ended up touching an octopus and a starfish! 5+ stars!!!
We were a bit worried when we first arrived at this place, but in the end our weeklong stay turned out to be very pleasant. I've called my review "the every man's Club Med" because this place is very similar to Club Med in that it's self-contained and has just about everything you would need on the premises for a nice weeklong vacation. But everything is quite basic and very affordable. The place is filled with campsites and trailers that have everything you need, but just barely. The trailer we rented had a small living room/kitchen and 3 postage stamp-sized bedrooms that could each sleep 2. So for 5 of us, it was the perfect size. It wasn't extremely cheap, but the price of about $2000 for a week for that many people during high season seemed reasonable enough. There's a basic snack bar and more formal restaurant on the premises, and a very good general store with lots of fresh bread and pastries brought in daily, again, all at very reasonable prices. The beach here is also quite good, and there are lots of watersports and other activities for extra fees. There's also a free day camp for the kids most days, though they take the day off every Thursday. As to getting here, it's quite accessible via bus from the train station, and the bus that serves the camp goes to most other places on the peninsula for good daytrips. If you take the bus, just remember to ask in advance what stop to get off at, as the stop isn't a widely used one (it's called Campeole) and it's not at the end of the line. Oh, and last but not least, there are barely any non-French here, so be prepared to have the authentic French experience and spend a little extra time communicating. But the staff were all very friendly and most could speak at least a little English.
We spent 2 weeks end of June / beginning of July 2022 on the Eurosurf Camping in a mobile home. The accomodation was well equipped, the beach was very close and other facilities were good as well (laundry, supermarket). There is a little playground for kids, a scuba diving school and a rental for all kind of watersport equipment (windsurf, wingfoil, SUP and much more). All in all a great place to spent the vacation.
