This Printemps store, once one of my favourite French retailers, now seriously undermines the luxury image of the Mariage Frères brand. The boutique, oddly located on a floor shared with children’s clothing and luggage, had no staff present, only a sign directing customers to customer service. This led to a long queue among click-and-collect customers, and when we finally received assistance, the customer service rep offered no apology for the excessive wait. Mariage Frères deserves far better than this level of incompetence and poor service.

I can’t fault the store as a whole but my experience with the Guerlain counter was appalling and humiliating I appreciate there was a language barrier but I had a lot of money to spend and was dismissed on two occasions and both members of staff so rude I walked out. Shame I had a lot of money to spend but was so embarrassed I had to leave. Won’t be back I’m afraid. Rest of store everyone was wonderful shame on Guerlain and their untrained staff
