Beautiful little haven, amazing views from the garden and balcony. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Interior is thoughtfully decorated and feels calm and homely. If you’re a dog person you may be lucky enough to have some cuddles with their gorgeous dog. Thierry was a wonderful host and puts a lot of effort into breakfast for us each day. Hope to return one day!
The bed is so comfy and beautiful soft sheets (which smell amazing!). Stayed for one night with my sister and wish we had stayed longer! Thierry is the loveliest host and made us an aperitif in the garden before our dinner booking. The breakfast was amazing food and lots of it. It’s such a beautiful place and the little town is charming! We had the best time and will definitely be back!
I can honestly say that this hostel is one of the best I've ever been to.La Belle Historie distinguishes itself from others with it's exceptional hosts, high quality rooms and a garden with a amazing view. We ate a spectacular dinner in the garden, made heart-warmingly by the kind couples that were the hosts☺. The room was also spacious and clean and I really recommend you to stay at this wonderful hotel.
Our family of four had a fantastic stay at La Belle Histoire! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. The kids especially loved the room and the lovely, big bed! The location was perfect—close to nature and Claviers main square, making it easy to explore the area. Thierry was an amazing host—responsive, thoughtful, and full of great local recommendations. We truly appreciated the little touches, like recommendations and help he provided us during our stay. If you're looking for a comfortable and family-friendly place to stay, this is it! We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Thierry and Nathalie for a wonderful experience!
I can’t believe how beautiful this place is! We had an amazing one-night stay. The bed was so comfortable, with soft sheets that smelled great. I stayed with my sister and we both wished we could’ve stayed longer. Thierry was a fantastic host and everything was thought of —he even made us an aperitif in the garden before dinner. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. The place is beautiful and we had a balcony with the best view and the town is really charming. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone!
We had a wonderful one night stay here. A warm welcome from Thierry and his wife. You can tell the love and hard work they put in the place. The room and terrace were impeccably clean. Our room had a separate bath and shower which was great. Everything is high quality. The bed was so comfortable and the linen and towels lovely and soft. The view from the terrace was stunning. The garden area where you have breakfast is beautiful. There are restaurants very close by and the locals are very friendly. Do not hesitate to stay here.
A fabulous BnB in a lovely location. Thierry could not have been a better host with every detail thought of. The place was immaculate from the lovely spacious room to the beautiful garden where we enjoyed breakfast with a fantastic view. We will definitely be back when we visit the region again x
Thierry was an excellent, inviting, attentive host with incredible attention for detail. He was everything you would expect and want from a bed and breakfast host: friendly and chatty, interesting, attentive without being intrusive, kind, helpful and pleasant. The Bed & Breakfast is recently renovated and it's beautiful and comfortable. The room was spacious with lots of drawer and closet space, a beautiful bath and a shower with excellent pressure and lovely amenities. There is a terrace with gorgeous mountain and rooftop views and comfortable seating. Breakfast in the garden was abundant and delicious and with panoramic views of the mountainous countryside. The croissants and pain au chocolat were the best we had during our 2 week stay in multiple places in Provence, the fresh cheeses, fruits, lavender honey etc were divine. Claviers is a quaint, quiet village with a few options to dine just a walk away so it's very convenient. The locals are friendly. Beautiful trails surround the village and we went for long walk in the morning shade with incredible views.
