Avis
Price-quality wise the hotel has met my expectations. The rooms were very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and I also really liked the fact that the shower was big and good pressure. What else would you need after a long day?
My stay at B&B Hotel Paris Châtillon was generally good. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and free Wi-Fi. The room was also quiet thanks to soundproofing. The location is convenient and close to public transport, making it easy to reach Paris.
This has been a horrific experience. The airco in the room can only blow hot air, so the temp in the room was above 27 degrees. A collegue reported the airco issues to one of the service guys, and he started laughing (instead of doing something). When you open the window sleeping is impossible because of the noise coming from the street, so you have the choice between boiling in the room or sleeping on a highway. The towels were probably good in 1995, but need to be replaced urgently. All the vending machines in the lobby were out of service. The only good thing was the breakfast, which was good for the reasonably price. Also, the hotel is terribly located with regards to public transport to get into the city. It takes you 1h in public transport and walking when you come from Gare Du Nord.
I have stayed in many B&B hotels over the years, but this one beats all negative records. Probably the worst choice possible — and I'm not just talking about the B&B chain, but any 3-star hotel I've ever stayed at. Let's start with the main absurdity: they don't clean the rooms or change the towels, and this is not mentioned anywhere before booking. How can a 3-star hotel not offer even the minimum level of hygiene? It's absolutely outrageous. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything going on around you. The dust in the room had been left there for days — you can clearly see it in the pictures — and the floor was no better. The shower faucet is broken and needs to be replaced, and the windows "cry" with condensation every night, even without the heating on. Breakfast is a bad joke: the same omelet every day, the same three types of meat, zero variety, and not even toast — just sliced baguette. The WiFi is a sham: you can connect, but there is no internet. The same goes for the air conditioning: it only works as a heater, giving off hot air. In conclusion: a poorly maintained, poorly managed hotel that is completely below the standard of decent accommodation, let alone a 3-star hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone and would not return even if I were paid.
A comfortable and clean hotel offering good value for money. Varied and quality breakfast. The soundproofing between rooms could be better; you can hear noisy neighbors a little.
Best service ever. They really went above and beyond to accommodate us. Especial thanks to Souhila. What a difference it makes when the front desk agent is so welcoming and agreable.
Great hotel with transport options in to Paris. Staff very good especially Souhila who was very nice and friendly and looked after us. We used the hotel for working in and visiting the Porte du Paris expo grounds.
Room was over all well cleaned but the faucets in the bathroom were loose and quite full of lime. The bed moved from every little move I made. Also, if you get a room towards the street, I hope you're not a light sleeper. You can hear everything. Temperature wise I was fine, 2nd floor and 32°C outside but I could almost sleep with a blanket. Breakfast was all right, but quite empathy already around 8:30 If your expectations are limited and your trip is short, you can definitely book this hotel.
