You would not necessarily expect to find a crêperie in the bottom of Provence, about as far as it could be from Brittany, where such foods are a specialty, but there it is. Lo'tentic et les Capilotades d'Evenos is a small restaurant, located on a high point in the picturesque hamlet of Evenos. The restaurant is housed in a medieval house and it has a terrace, a stone throw away from the 11th century Château d'Evenos and overlooking the late 19th century Fort de Pipaudon across the valley. With this backdrop, we enjoyed delicious, freely made crêpes, made with local ingredients. My favorite was a desert crêpe made with crème de marron and ice cream. Simply put, a unique combination of authentic, simple, freshly prepared food, in a unique, spectacular location. Service was friendly and attentive. Good food, spectacular location, attentive service. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Went here with a group of 10 people and the staff dealt with us efficiently. The food was very tasty and the location superb on a warm summer evening. Luckily we had a fluent French speaker because English on the day was a bit limited. Restaurant in a quaint little village that is worth walking around. Would visit again.

Absolutely stunning view, delicious food. Have been there already twice. Will definitely come back.

Unfriendly staff or owner. Yelling at us without a reason. We left the place without ordering something. He doesn't deserve my money. Uncomfortable chairs. Edit after the answer of the owner: We never ordered or asked just for coffee. We never had the opportunity to order or say that we were waiting for two more friends to join us a minute later. He's an absolute sourpuss or grump! The owner can't deal with criticism from costumers. Instead he's lying and trying to say that we were the reason for his unkindness. Very unprofessional! If you read all bad ratings of the location you'll see! Better try the other Café/Restaurant in Évenos!
