Great little find along the canal du Midi…after a long day’s cycling the pool and jacuzzi are a real plus. Rooms are nice and clean and modern. Restaurant is also highly recommended with great Cassoulet

We stayed here during the festival weekend. The room was very comfortable and air conditioned, the food was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and made our stay a real pleasure. The pool was very welcome and whilst the situation outside town may not suit all, it was ideal for us.

Nice hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Clean modern room and comfy bed. Shower great and nice breakfast.|Location is a touch away from the centre, but eating at the lovely restaurant at the hotel is a plus (bit pricey but amazing food).

Excellent hotel. Plenty of parking, which is locked at night, accessible by code if you are late back. |There is no lift, but there are ground-floor rooms.|Our room, though small, was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The AC was excellent. We got a great night's sleep. |There was a fridge, but no safe.|The bathroom was absolutely pristine. It looked like it was installed yesterday.|We ate in the hotel restaurant. Wide menu and wine list. The meal was delicious. And relaxing, thanks to the friendly staff. The Cabardès house wine - from c.40km east - was great. |Apart from the Canal du Midi locks and basin, there is nothing to bring one to Castelnaudry. |But this hotel is well worth a detour for dinner and/or an overnight stay.|We would definitely return.

I was very satified with the hotel, which is why I rated it 5. Of course, there are some things that should be noted, namely that the rooms are quite small and that you have nowhere to open a large suitcase, as well as that the area around the pool is surrounded by Plexiglas and that you cannot go inside to stay over the summer even though everything is open. Also, hotel is situated in not so quit area, near mail road. The food was excellent, a recommendation for the house wine. The waiters really tried their best and they are very kind and so polite. The older receptionist does not speak English like most people in France, which makes communication difficult.

The hotel was a convenient nightstop on our way to Spain. First impressions were of a typical 3 star hotel but it has apparently been recently refurbished and the room amenities were good with a large comfortable bed, kettle, fridge, coffee maker and wardrobe storage. The shower room was amazing with very good quality fittings and large fluffy towels. We ate in the restaurant which was good quality and value. Negatives were rather too firm pillows, draughty windows (it was very windy) and a completely self-service breakfast with items not restocked. The hotel location is opposite a Leclerc with cheap petrol. Overall a very satisfactory stay.

Everyone of the staff we met was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bar and pool were great and the room comfortable and a lovely shower. The highlight was the FANTASTIC dinner we had in the restaurant which exceeded our expectations and was delightful. Thank you!

What a superb hotel. On the outskirts of Castelnaudary this hotel has a pool, a bar and restaurant with superb food and the most excellent staff. Family run, we arrived having walked from the station (stupid idea) and were helped to cool down with iced water and a rest in reception. Shown to our rooms which were limited in space but clean and modern. Bathrooms were up to date with good showers and very clean. Tea/coffee facilities were provided. We did use the pool, but didn't realise until too late that you can hire a pool towel for the purpose. We used our bathroom towels and then could have done with another later. The bar was open and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Check out the Hens au Canard, could have done with a couple of those for my main and I would have been satisfied. The hotel organised our taxi requirements for the following day which entailed going into town then coming back to the supermarket to do our shop for our canal trip then to the hotel to pick up luggage. Nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay. Thankyou
