GHANJATI ABDELBAKI

This is an interesting example of a Romanesque church. It is very well maintained and definitely worth a visit. Entry is free, as is the modest car park nearby. Interestingly, the church is located close to the excavations of a 2,000-year-old Roman city. I highly recommend visiting both. I also highly recommend the nearby museum, which is dedicated to the Roman settlement.

Nice place to visit for ancient and mediaeval history fans. Museum is quite expansive in relation to the size if the exhibition. One ticket to visit museum, cathedral and excavations can be purchased in the museum.

Cathedral is in the middle of nowhere, but really beautiful.

Petite visite, ce n'est pas long à faire mais on apprend des choses.. l'église était fermée, nous n'avons donc pas pu la visiter.

Cette église a connu une vie millénaire très agitée, détruite puis reconstruite à plusieurs reprises. En un mot, elle est un palimpseste de l’histoire de la Corse. C'est à dire que l'état présent de l’église laisse supposer et apparaître des traces de plus anciennes de l'édifice .... jusqu'au 1er siècle de notre ère.

Magnifica basilica romanica a tre navate perfettamente conservata nello stato originale. La basilica si trova sul sito archeologico della colonia romana di Mariana. Vale sicuramente una visita. Unico aspetto negativo, l'uscita dal posteggio é estremamente pericolosa, non c'é nessuna visibilità sulla sinistra e si deve obbligatoriamente invadere la corsia in contromano.

Una chiesa romanica nella campagna vixino a Bastia. Internamente ben tenuta, esternamente sarebbe da curare maggiormente il prato laterale dove sono presenti alcune modeste rovine disperse tra l'erba
