Generous portions of perfectly crafted pastas and other italian food staples. The staff members were patient and kind even though we didn't speak a bit of French!

If you're craving authentic Italian cuisine in Angers, Restaurant Al Dente is a must-visit! The pasta dishes are truly outstanding, capturing the essence of Italy with every bite—definitely the highlight for me. While the pizza is good, it doesn't quite stand out as much as their pasta offerings when compared to other local Italian spots. However, the overall dining experience is very pleasant, bolstered by the courteous and attentive staff. Highly recommended for a delightful Italian meal.

The portions are very generous and we got the salmon with pasta which was amazing and the shrimps pasta which was good.

The 12€ Fusilli Lia was the best dinner I ate in France.

We came across this restaurant whilst walking around just browsing places to eat. They had one table left and we were a little wary as we don't usually go out for Italian food but this was the best meal of our holiday. All the staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful and perfect English. A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere we felt at home. We both had pasta dishes and I will never forget this meal it was perfect. Gets very busy but I would wait for a table, it's definitely worth it!

This is truly a great Italian restaurant in Angers - the service is personal, helpful and good humoured; the food is similarly great. The street setting on a moonlit 28C evening is unequalled. And the value for money is exceptional. The patrons of the Thai restaurant opposite provide ample interest! (If required.). What more can I add?

This Italian restaurant is simply the best you will find in Angers, and possibly in the Maine et Loire. Have been eating here for over 12 years. Staff are amazing, full of delight in what they do and are very good at it. Get there early as it gets busy. In France, eat where the locals eat. You will not go wrong.
