Last week of December 2025, I visited Pavillon Vendôme, located at 2 rue du Guichet, Clichy, not far from the voco Hotel where I was staying. This cultural center is beautifully situated in the heart of the commune of Clichy and was very easy to access. At the time of my visit, Pavillon Vendôme was hosting L’Odyssée de Léa, an immersive exhibition by Junior Fritz Jacquet. The artist explored new underwater spaces through paper art and invited visitors to dive into a poetic ocean-inspired world. The exhibition was presented from 15 October to 10 January. The exhibition was entirely made of paper and was very well designed, carefully arranged, and clearly directed. I started my visit by watching the introductory video behind the reception desk, where the artist explained how the project began and what inspired his creative process. As I moved through the exhibition space, I entered a paper world representing the ocean floor. The experience felt almost like Alice in Wonderland, but set in an oceanic landscape. The contrast between deep blue and dark tones and soft white light was well balanced, and the use of the exhibition space was intelligent and immersive. What I particularly appreciated was how accessible the exhibition was. It was not overly abstract and could be easily understood and enjoyed by a wide audience, including children and visitors without an artistic background. The message about the importance of protecting the ocean was communicated clearly and naturally, without requiring much explanation. Overall, L’Odyssée de Léa was a thoughtful and engaging exhibition that successfully combined creativity, storytelling, and environmental awareness in a refined and immersive way.
I stumbled upon the 'Fragiles métamorphoses' exhibition by Zoé Kleinmann at Pavillon Vendôme and was blown away. The intricate macramé and textile sculptures are impressive in person, and even more when you're close up. The detail in the pieces is incredible. A beautiful, calm space to enjoy some very poetic local art. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Clichy area!
We came here to see an exhibition 'Odyssey to Lea'. It was fantastic. An ode to nature and fragility of the ocean. The artist JFJ studied in Nippon Oragami Association; hence, the fantastic origami work. I will come back again to see other exhibition.
Very, very beautiful exposition
a small center, but the exhibition was great!
Very very touching, wolderful exposition and philosophy. I love it. Great artist
Great find within a not so promising neighbourhood. There was an interesting art exhibition on, which you could vote for your favourite piece if you wished. Lovely cafe too. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Between 2013 and 2015 this was a wonderful contemporary art venue, for whose events and exhibitions I would come on foot from Asnières. Sadly, in 2015, everything changed: the ground level was taken up by the tourist office and a café, while in the now much smaller exhibition space the shows became rare and of little interest (only the POUSH exhibition managed to get me to visit once again). A shame.
