Le Havre takes a lot of pride in being a metropolitan port city and this container statue is set in the perfect location to take a picture with the bustling port in the background. I am glad I visited this last because it had more meaning for me after seeing the rest of the city.

This quirky structure is seen from many parts of Le Havre. From a distance we wondered what it was so decided to take a closer look. In the port of Le Havre, close to the control tower a huge art installation of used containers painted in different colors is a perfect photo op, and due to its vivid colors it ads some life in this grey city built entirely of concrete.

Container sculpture. Pretty much it, you'll find it on any picture of Le Havre, so after you've come close you can at least say you've seen it. Or, even that you've taken a picture of it. 📸
