LES JARDINS D'OLEA

Le Clos D’Olea was wonderful in every way! The rooms were beautifully appointed, spacious, comfortable, and clean. Common spaces including kitchen, patio, pool and courtyard we’re inviting and had everything we needed to feel comfortable including cutlery, serviceware, glasses, tea cups and coffee mugs, games, plenty of umbrellas for shade and plenty of loungers. There was even a washer and dryer for complementary use. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely enchanting! This was by far our favorite place we stayed in Provence. The location is gorgeous, we had a beautiful view out our window, the pool was so lovely and tucked into a natural view. The owners are super nice and the breakfast was out of this world! The location was perfect for enjoying the villages of the area. We would stay here the entire time if we return to Provence. Just perfect!

This place is absolutely fantastic and was a highlight of our honeymoon trip in Provence. We stayed there for 4 nights and we wish we booked it for longer. Rooms are very nice, good air con and fantastic swimming pool and the outdoor area. Place had also fridge and washing machines. Breakfast was delicious and service on the highest level. This B&B is surrounded by olive trees and is in a short distance from Gordes, Menerbes and other most beautiful villages of Provence. We would recommend to everyone, it is an amazing place!

We often come to Luberon, and this is my impression of our first stay here. We stayed at A L'ORÉE DES OLIVIERS (on the first floor.). Everything is functional ,The refrigerator is large (big freezer)and the bed is very comfortable. The parking lot is very spacious.Pool chairs are fully flat.There is space to relax in the garden where everyone was relaxing in their own way. As others have said, it was a little difficult to contact them by email at first, but host couple are very warm when you meet them, so don't worry. A very calm and be healed place. We decided that LE CLOS D'OLEA is our regular place to stay in Luberon!.

This is a lovely property. We stayed in a cottage on the ground level for 3 nights. The room itself was lovely, but open to people walking by. What was hardest was the lack of communication. I booked on their website, so more rooms were available then going through a third party. After booking,I sent two emails concerning the possibility of getting breakfast, since they also had B & B rooms, but never heard anything back. I didn't get info on check-in time. When we arrived at 3:30, and read the note on the door which stated that no one would be around until 4:00, we came back at that time. The person who greeted us was the owner, I found out later. He never told us that he lived in the back of the property. When it came time to check out (11:00 according to the book in the cottage), I could not find anyone on site. We left thinking that the owners already had our credit card number from when we made the deposit. We found out soon (via email, which the owner seemed unable to use to answer us prior to our stay), that we needed to return to give them a card physically. (A French b & b that we had just left a few days earlier used the card they had on file, so I assumed that would be true here). Luckily, we were not far, and returned to settle up. That's when we found out the owner lived on the other side of the fence.....would have been nice to know that. The only other thing that was strange was the lack of "supplies" in the cottage. We had one roll of toilet paper for 3 nights, with no back-up stored anywhere. If we had planned to cook in the cottage, there were no staples to get us started - olive oil, salt and pepper, etc. That's fine if you are driving to this destination and can bring supplies from home. We arrived on a plane and could not bring those supplies back and forth. All in all, although a lovely place, I got the feeling that we really weren't welcome.

We loved this hotel. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our 2 week honeymoon, and the amenities, service, and cleanliness were impeccable. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made excellent recommendations for places to eat in the area. They also have a comprehensive guide book in each of the rooms that they've put together that was a really nice touch. My only regret was that we didn't book another night!

Disappointing experience due to the attitude of the (young) managing couple. We booked a room on March 28th. The only remaining one was the Chambre Romatique Dorée at Euro 200.00 a night. Once there we inquired about the breakfast times and were told that the room has been converted into a Gîte (self catering appart) and breakfast was no longer part of it. This info was not communicated and no were indicated. Their website, room directory, in room price déclaration and signs posted at the entrance, still declare this chambre as a”room”. We paid the full price for it but didn’t get the services.||By the way, there is no TV nor a safety deposit in the room, pool was open but not heated, no pool towels in the room, spider web and dust balls under the bed, ants crawling on the floor. The roof above the terrace is not properly finished as per local standards. ||With the “conversion” into a Gîte, the bed was moved from its original spot to the opposite wall, leaving a “golden” square on the place it used to be. There are bay windows on both sides (courtyard and terrace). To have privacy, one needs to close the curtains on the courtyard side as it is a passage way to the parking. When leaving the room, curtains cannot be closed properly as door is blocked by them. (Photos are available if interested). ||We did mention some of this to the couple. Responses on the defensive side and “anyhow” the place is rented all the time, so what…

Amazing .. we will put it on top of our list for a future visit. Wonderful location, impeccable service, great views, facilities are wonderful. Loved every minute .
