Very nice place right on the beach with a beautiful close-to-nature ambience . Good service, nice rooms - too few hangers and places to dry towels, but otherwise nice, everything built in wood and with a handmade and ecological feeling. Many people on the beach (french high season, what did you expect?) but not overcrowded and as resident you have acess to sunbeds for free. Excellent but pricey restaurant, nice staff and overall a delightful stay.

Absolutely breath taking area and amenities were top: pool, beach chairs, restaurant all lovely. Rooms a bit worn but we did not spend much time in them since it was so beautiful. Great area, close to it all. Would come back for sure!

Paradise. Stunning location, lots of open spaces with trees. Bedrooms beautiful and well maintained, good quality products provided, great coffee machine, bathrooms well equipped, beach-vibe deco that we loved, fantastic restaurant, good breakfast... The list goes on. We loved it.

We spend a long weekend here to recharge our batteries. We had absolutely lovely time. The nature is breathtaking, the facilities are new, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was very kind, helpful and made us feel like home. I highly recommend Le Domaine de la Mer for your next getaway. I know I’m coming back! 🥰

The place is dirty and not worth the money. We stay here in august for a week and had moisture in the bathroom and in one of the bedrooms. The technicians came and had a look at it, but just mentioned that this is a known problem and requires renovation, but beside spraying some disinfection on the moisture there is nothing they can do. There was no word of apologies or compensation offered by the management team for the issue. |“They do not care”, which could essentially be also the title for this review. This not only valid for the conditions of the rooms but also for the entire place with is filthy. The walkways between the different locations (accommodation, beach, pool, reception, etc.) are sandy and dusty roads shared with the vehicles. Not only do you carry all that dust into your rooms, but they also do not care about dog dirt and women’s sanitary pads laying around. Obviously with all that dirt in your rooms that cleaning ladies have to do a hell of a job, rather impossible job, which of course led to our room not being ready at 4pm upon arrival. | Also be aware that if you have a “garden view” you are looking into a dry and deserted piece of forest hill. Not to mention the overpriced restaurant (13€ for a 0.5l beer). The entire place is not maintained properly. During out 7 days stay there was always at least one thing not working: Internet (2 day), electricity (1 day), AC (1 day), water (1 day). Only minor plus point is the proximity to the beach, but also do not expect too much. Not sure if it is because of the many boats anchoring in close distance, but the water it not very clear, there is not fish to spot whatsoever. |

First the good points. This was our 3rd visit and once again we found the setting delightful, the staff friendly and efficient, the apartment clean and comfortable enough. There were good measures in place in connection with Covid-19 which they were treating seriously.||||The bad points. We stayed in Palmier 4. This apartment has a good balcony with sea view. Unfortunately the balcony is right above, and rather low above, the large terrace of the apartment below, Palmier 1. Most guests in this building, and in the Domaine in general were French, and were respectful for other guests, maintaining low noise levels on their balconies and terraces, so as not to disturb others. Unfortunately in the apartment below us was a German 'business man' with his 2 companions. He was on their terrace for most of the day and in to the evening making business calls shouting in to his phone on speaker setting, so that we had to hear every word of both sides of the conversation. ||||Of course this is not the fault of Domaine de la Mer, but the design of the Palmier building means that Palmier 4 is the most likely to be affected by disturbance from anti-social guests as the balcony is low over this terrace. I would strongly advise against booking Palmier 4 for that reason. We will return, but will choose another apartment with more privacy from other guests.

This was our second visit, this time in apartment Palmier 4, excellent location with sea view from the good sized balcony. The balcony was very well equipped, with table and chairs for 2 plus 2 sun loungers, clothes airer, and very necessary Parasol. The rest of the apartment was the same as that of our previous trip, basic accommodation, two cooking rings plus microwave/grill combination, dishwasher and coffee machine. As standard at this type of accommodation in France, a linen and towels packet provided, so you have to make your own bed, and just basic starter pack of 1 toilet roll, and small amounts of cleaning products. ||||Once again we enjoyed the stroll through the grounds to the beach several times a day, early morning when it is really quiet, so a good long walk, busy during the day, then quiet in the evenings with just a few people around enjoying the warm evenings.||||On our last day we dined at their beach cafe, excellent salads, good service, reasonable prices. The location could not be better, we flew down this time for a 3 night break, it is just 10 minutes drive from Aeroport Toulon-Hyeres, less to the La Capte local shopping area, or up the hill to the village of Giens. As I said in my last review, some may find the accommodation a little too basic, we don't care as the balcony plus the grounds plus the beach make it a real paradise for us. We will be back again.
