The elevator was not operating during our visit in May, but the walk up the stairs was enjoyable because of the beautiful views along the way. The gardens at the top were lovely and well maintained. The panoramic views overlooking both the harbor and the sea were absolutely stunning. A great place to take in the beauty of Nice and enjoy some spectacular scenery.
Perfect place to see sunset in Nice. You can see the coastline from the top, which feels amazing. Also, there is an artificial waterfall, which is nice too. Ofcourse don’t try to take a shower or drink the water, as it’s too dirty. But an absolute Gem in Old Nice.
If you want to see Nice in all its glory, Parc de la Colline du Château is the place to be. The climb is absolutely worth it for the breathtaking 360-degree views of the Baie des Anges and the Old Town. The highlight for me was the Cascade de Dijon. It’s a stunning, powerful waterfall that brings a refreshing coolness even on a hot day. It’s hard to believe such a majestic site is tucked away right above the bustling city. The park itself is peaceful, with plenty of shaded spots to rest and soak in the atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for photography or just a quiet moment to appreciate the beauty of the French Riviera. A true 'must-visit' gem!
The views at Colline du Château were absolutely breathtaking. Almost every corner was Instagram-worthy, making it such a beautiful place to explore and take photos. We ended up staying for quite a while because of the stunning panoramic views overlooking the Promenade des Anglais, the city, and Port Lympia on the other side. Despite the number of tourists around, the atmosphere still felt serene and peaceful. The combination of nature, fresh air, and relaxing scenery made the whole experience incredibly calming and enjoyable.
Colline du Château is a great spot in Nice for panoramic views of the coastline, the Old Town, and the port. The climb up is a bit of a workout, but the scenery at the top makes it completely worth it. You can also take the elevator if you prefer an easier way up. It’s a lovely place to walk around, relax, and enjoy the breeze — perfect for photos and a peaceful break from the busy streets below.
One of the best viewpoints of Nice. The way up is easy and from there you'll see the whole city. Very clean and well maintained, it's the ideal place to take a picture of the Promenade des Anglais.
Absolutely stunning spot! The panoramic view of the Promenade des Anglais, the port, and Old Nice is just incredible. Even though you’ll break a bit of a sweat climbing all the way up from Vieux Nice, the moment you reach the waterfall and the main viewpoint, it’s all worth it. A must-visit for anyone in Nice—it’s worth every single step! (Check out my 360° photo to see what I mean.)
Beautiful views, parks, and an amazing waterfall. But we waited an hour at the top for the sunset, only to be kicked out 30 minutes before sunset because they were closing. It would be nice if they extended their hours in the summer.
