Overall: 9/10 A menu (main + bread) for 17€ Cuisine: 9/10 It’s one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever tried in France! Location: Lyon , few minutes walk from Part Dieu Staff and service: 9/10 Very Friendly and welcoming staff! excellent service! Ambiance and setup: 9/10 Very beautiful and comfortable restaurant, they really took care of all details price: 9/10 Fair prices, around 6€ for appetizer, 15€ for a main, 6€ for a delicious drink!
Food is okay, not as tasty as I normally get from Indian restaurants. Service is good though and location is very good. Tight space in the restaurant, and a bit pricey too. Food is not filling for the price.
Good food and decor. The portions were small for ok for the price. The service was however way poor than what we expected after reading such good reviews. The owner was very good but the staff definitely need some coaching on hospitality.
The ambience was great! Food taste was delicious but pricey for the less quantity. The kulfi dessert was not that great and over priced for a small portion. Mango lassi I highly recommend it. Great place & customer service. Make sure to get a reservation before you go!!
The food lacked flavor and spices , they need to be more daring and truer to the method of indo-pakistani cooking, the butter chicken was not creamy but rather watery, the chicken pieces were very small in the gravy , the butter chicken also somehow lacked pronounced tomato flavor and spices. on the upside, the kebabs were good , the mango lassi and kulfi were great
- Great food in the middle of Lyon - halal food with Lahori touch - we couldn’t believe that we’ll find such great food in Lyon - butter chicken, chicken karahi/masala, lamb biryani plus doodh patti was brilliant - extraordinary chakki fresh atta roti was a standout (bit pricey but vacation add on 🙂) - Junaid son of the Owner was extremely helpful - met Mr Ashraf as well who is the owner and founded the place back in 1984
Not authentic at all. Lacks all kind of spices and flavors. Portions don’t justify the price. No value for money at all levels.
What a nice place to share a good meal with some good friends. The round table was perfect for the 5 of us. Good food (butter chicken). First time I tried lassi (mango lassi). Perfect to counter the hot sauces!
