I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are excellent, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great, and the service is outstanding. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s perfect for a vacation, but also a great choice for business travel, as you’ll feel comfortable and well-rested. On top of that, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of La Rochelle.

Perfectly placed for exploring both St Nicolas and the colourful Gabut area, it offers easy access to a maze of narrow streets, a vibrant atmosphere, and access to superb views of the Vieux Port. This is a great hotel close to everything in La Rochelle. All the staff are so nice and helpful. I was at the airport going home and realised I had forgotten my phone. Person I spoke to on Reception organised for taxi driver to deliver the phone to me. I was delighted.

This was the last stop of our 18 days in France and what a perfect hotel for it! The staff, the surroundings/location, the breakfast, the room.....all très magnifique! La Rochelle is a great place to visit and Le Saint-Nicolas Hotel is a great place to stay. It's a comfortable, upscale hotel.
