Very good hotel. very nice and welcoming front desk. Room not very large but nice. Very clean. Nice little bathroom. Lighting is about right. nice plateau and despite the road not too far quiet. Breakfast.

We had a superior suite which was great, very clean, good size and lovely big shower. We managed to cook a number of meals in the kitchenette in the suite with no difficulty. The hotel is in a great position about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Parking was free and plentiful, and they had a place to lock our bikes away. We had breakfast twice, it was adequate but not amazing so we mostly did our own in our suite. We stayed for 8 nights. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Perfect for bike ride. Train station very close and box to park the bikes safely. Breakfast is very good.

We were in Granville due to a business trip and had to take this hotel as our normal hotel was fully booked. When we arrived, it became apparent that the hotel was partially in need of renovation. The paint on the front door is partially chipped off. In the room the edges of the washbasin were fringed, the handles of the shower door were broken inside and dirt collected in it. There were dark spots on the edges of the faucets in the shower, one could assume mold. Toilet paper was half a roll and no extra somewhere in the room and the house keeping didn't fill it up. You had to ask for additional toilet paper at the reception. The house keeping was in the room only on the first day. The rest of the time you would have left your towels on the floor (signs to be replaced) and then would have had to pick it up again in the evening when coming back. At least the beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was again something where I unfortunately have to say that it isn't ok at all. You take cups and they are obviously dirty. Unfortunately, this happened every morning. You really had to look for a clean one. Glasses dirty, cutlery dirty and partly sticky, the cutlery box dirty and sticky and, last but not least, the cereal bowls were dirty. All in all, you can say that the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. The last point I have is the opening time of the breakfast at the weekend. It was stated at check-in that the weekend breakfast starts at 07:30 am. Unfortunately, at 07:30 am no one was there and the door was locked. The same at 8 o'clock. At 8:30 am it was open, but bread was still completely missing. This was only brought out a few minutes later. All in all I cannot recommend this hotel

We stayed here for two nights and while the room was quite small, it was very clean and had a hairdrier, TV and a great shower. It was a fifteen minute walk down into town and in a || very convenient location. . We didn't eat in the hotel but breakfast was available and looked very good. We were on our way back to the ferry in Cherbourg and decided to break the journey. It was our first experience of a Brit Hotel but we will use them again.

Would be 5 stars if the wifi had ever worked!! Great location, very comfortable bed, great shower, breakfast good, room small but everything there. Husband stored his bike in secure garbage at the back. Good car park right by the hotel. Easy walk into town down hill. Ate at Parfum Poivre which was expensive but a great steak. Would recommend the hotel. Good value for money.

We were nicely welcomed to the hotel. We were travelling with our daughter and two dogs. The room was small but comfortable. Our complaint was that we were put into room 34 which was over top of the reception and beside the furnace which was very loud. I would hope that other rooms were not so noisy. Breakfast was over-prices for what you get.

Good location to park the car and walk into Granville (approx 30 minutes - a little uphill on return). Comfy bed. Extremely compact but perfectly designed shower room. The room was clean and the bathroom was generally clean. The hinges on the toilet seat and the outside of the shower screen (at the side of the toilet) needed a deep clean but it was probably no worse than several other toilet facilities we have encountered in France recently. Having read previous reviews we requested a quiet room. We were given one at the farthest end of the corridor upstairs and we did have a peaceful night. There is a kettle in the room but no milk and the paper cups for French coffee are tiny. We were on a road trip so were glad that we had taken some full size mugs.
