Really amazing people here. They were helpful and they spoke English, and provided me some free services while I am waiting for my social security card. They're quick with the medical services and have a lot of connections with other organizations if you need different sorts of help. I felt super comfortable and safe.

This is one of the worst experiences I have had with a medical organization. I contacted Checkpoint Paris with a specific question about receiving female hormone therapy. Instead of any real help, I was simply “kicked out” five times in a row, giving the same email address. I wrote to this address several times — and received no response. Complete disregard.🤷‍♂️😢 This looks like a complete lack of coordination, responsibility, and basic respect for people seeking help. It seems that the staff is either not interested in helping or does not understand what they are doing.🤷‍♂️😢😭 An organization that declares support, in practice demonstrates the opposite — indifference and formal “sweeping away” from people. If you cannot provide basic feedback and support — do not create the illusion of help. Very disappointed. Wasted time and zero results.👎👎

I had a wonderful experience here as a foreigner. Everyone spoke English and didn’t make me feel bad about it. I was able to get an appointment for the next day (but had to go in-person becuase no one ever answered the phone when I called). Staff were professional and kind.

Best place ever. Period Don’t mind any of the bad reviews People first 100% oriented, Fully dedicated, professional team and respectful to the max. They are there to help you and they do it with the best intention. I wish every city in the world had this kind people and detailed oriented service. You guys rock!

Formal Complaint Regarding a Traumatizing Experience at Checkpoint Paris Dear Checkpoint Paris Team, I am writing this message with a heavy heart after experiencing one of the most humiliating and distressing moments of my life at your center. From the very beginning, I was met with hostility. The receptionist yelled at me in front of everyone in the waiting room, treating me with a lack of dignity and respect. This public humiliation left me shocked and deeply ashamed. Unfortunately, the situation only worsened when the doctor refused to provide me with urgent care, despite the fact that I was in visible distress and had come to your center seeking help and support. To my dismay, I was offered no assistance, no guidance, and no compassion. I left the center in tears, feeling abandoned and mistreated in a place that is supposed to offer safety, care, and understanding to people in vulnerable situations. I am still struggling to process the emotional impact of this experience. I expected a safe and inclusive space – but instead, I was shamed, dismissed, and eventually forced to leave without receiving any support. I am sharing this not only for myself, but because I believe that every person working at or associated with Checkpoint Paris should know the kind of treatment people in crisis are receiving under your roof. No one deserves to be treated this way – especially not in a center that presents itself as a place of help and compassion. I hope you take this message seriously and take immediate steps to ensure no one else has to go through what I did.

I highly recommend this place, its a safe space. Being a foreigner, I was doubtful I will be treated on short notice. But they were welcoming and they do speak English. I walked in on Monday and got the consultation right away and tests appointment on the same day. The receptionist was really helpful. And the doctor was very sweet! I was able to discuss my problem openly with her. Such places need more recognition!
