I spent six weeks at New Mayapur in the summer of 2025 as a volunteer, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The setting is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature—there’s a lake, a large forest, flower gardens, and well-maintained vegetable plots. The community also has a small farm with cows and oxen, all of which are treated with care and respect. The oxen help with tasks like ploughing fields and transporting wood, while the cows provide milk. New Mayapur is an eco-village and spiritual community where people live in a sustainable and environmentally conscious way. As a volunteer, I contributed to various activities including working in the vegetable and flower gardens, chopping and stacking wood, housekeeping in the castle and the guest house, and helping with milking the cows. The work was varied, meaningful, and rewarding. The residents are welcoming, kind, and always smiling, which made the experience even more special. During my stay, I also had the opportunity to explore spirituality more deeply. I discovered mantra chanting, transcendental meditation, and Vedic philosophy, all of which added a rich and meaningful dimension to my time there. The meals were vegetarian and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend New Mayapur to anyone looking for a peaceful, enriching, and authentic experience.

An amazing experience for rejuvenating our spiritual life. Beautiful castle and serene grounds with such beautiful people always serving us with a smile. There is some special magic about this place you would feel out of this world. I’m feeling so calm and relaxed after staying here for 5 days. Would recommend everyone to come visit.

I highly recommend this place. It has a unique international atmosphere, delicious food, and a beautiful location. Furthermore, as a volunteer who was happy with the trip, I regularly used the yoga services led by a wonderful woman whose practices always brightened up my day after physical work.

Very good temple. Not far from paris. Try to stay overnight.It will be very good experience. The timetable of i'm attaching.Please review before visit. Try to visit at least for 2 prayera. During the weekends, it is having a lot of devotees so a good time to visit. On their website, a lot of programs are going on.So that is also good. In lot of cows are there.So you can feed them as well. They are under constructing a lake in which swimmig will be possible.

Amazing temple with beautiful flower gardens. Come and experience Srila Prabhupada's farming community set in the stunning French countryside. The devotee community is very welcoming and open to receiving everyone whether you are looking to develop as a devotee or if you just need to get away and relax. It's an experience you will never forget.

The food was excellent, prepared with care, and the welcome was absolutely perfect. The people there are lovely, warm, and very kind, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. It's a unique place where you feel true inner peace. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, spiritual place filled with positive energy.

Always a lovely experience at New Mayapur! The deities and the entire altar generally are incredibly beautiful, decorated using the temple’s own flower gardens.

A unique and tranquil place to unplug and unwind, perfect for a yoga retreat. Tucked into a beautiful old château surrounded by gardens, farmland, and quiet countryside, it's the kind of place where your shoulders drop the moment you arrive. The Bhakti yoga and meditation sessions, the kirtan, and the fresh vegetarian meals all come together into something genuinely restorative. What stayed with me most was the people: a diverse mix from all over the world, all with a chill, open vibe and a real desire to connect.
