Guillaume had a wonderful personality. He made us feel right at home and recommended all the best dishes. We were a little lost because the entire menu was in French! He works fast, is friendly and attentive. A real star. ⭐️ The foie gras was ok. Also had Camembert starter but didn’t like the cheese quality. Specialty is beef, but we’re not very used to this style. It was dry, had these layers and was quite tough, we ordered medium. Won’t go back for beef or lava cake dessert. Can’t speak for the rest of dishes as we didn’t try them. Restaurant is in a quaint old town neighborhood. Very lovely environment to take in while you enjoy a meal. Make some time to walk around before or after, you won’t regret it.
We visited the restaurant without a reservation, and despite it being fully booked, we were warmly welcomed and seated — special thanks to the staff for that. The food was outstanding: everything was delicious, perfectly prepared, and clearly made with great attention to detail. You can really feel the passion for quality ingredients and cooking. The restaurant is located in the historic part of Le Mans, which adds a lot of charm and atmosphere to the experience. It’s worth noting that not speaking French may cause a bit of discomfort at first, but this is easily solved with translation apps. Additionally, some of the staff speak English, which makes communication much easier. A wonderful place that we would happily return to. Highly recommended.
We had some foie gras in different versions, a duck breast and the fish. The fish was ok and the rest was delicious. The foie gras was well prepared and so good. The duck was indeed medium rosé. The service was great, friendly and quick. Really enjoyed the experience.
Two green salads we have tried were great. The beef meals were delicious. Staff was very welcoming and helpful with great smiles.
We booked and had a lovely lunch on the Friday of the Le Mans weekend. The restaurant was very busy as it has been in previous years when we visited. The food was great and served very promptly, the only gripe would be that we was promised a special drink once our meal was finished but it never appeared! We will be back next year as we love the food and atmosphere in the restaurant.
Yes, yes, yes. Without a doubt, the best tasting meal we've had in France, and accordng to my wife, one of the best meals she's ever had. This is understated, but French food with pure class. Absolutely incredible. DO NOT MISS THIS.
Great service. Delicious food. Value for money. Froi gras was so tasty and the steak delicious with Roquefort.
