This must be the single most well-functioning organization in the whole of France! I cannot thank them enough for all the help they've provided me (finding an apartment, helping with residence permit, arranging social activities, ...)

This specialist association has assisted me with accommodation, visas, and residency issues "free of charge." The qualified team replies promptly to messages and emails, and they provide assistance in ways that no other company can. I've gotten support from them since 2016 with prefecture appointments, preparation of visa documents, opening bank account and more. Just recently, Sophie Langrognet, Director of Development, and Corinne Ollé, Director of Administrative Support to Mobility, helped me obtain my Cart de séjour, which I had not been able to receive since November 2023. They also set up my wife's residency and work permit issues. I don't even mention their signature hospitality and smile.

Science Accueil is a service for international researchers or students coming to France. They help students and researchers in finding home, opening bank account, applying for residence card, etc. The people working at Science Accueil are really helpful and welcoming. They do speak English. I thank Science Accueil for helping me settle in Paris for my postdoc.

Not recommended at all. Two stars only because of polite personnel. Generic services, they only provide information which you can easily find online without going through their registration first. No actual help with finding accommodation, etc. Friendly warning: do not open the bank account with the bank they have the partnership with, the service is dreadful (I was unable to access my money until mid-November, so if you rely on a scholarship to pay for things, forget about this option). Actually, the bank is OK, but the counsellor in charge for international student they have is absolutely terrible at her job.

Science accueil is a very nice institution and idea. It was very helpful and it makes things easier. I also have to mention the kindness and efficiency of Amy Martin.
