MAJESTY

My husband and I stayed for a week and were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. It has a great location and we were able to walk everywhere easily. A few times we took the tram which was conveniently located a few minutes from the hotel. We were glad we opted for the buffet breakfast which had lots of good choices. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Most of all we loved how quiet it was so we slept well. We would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay….front desk staff were very helpful and the location was perfect. The rooms were updated and comfortable.

The location is absolutely fabulous - right near major tourist sites, excellent restaurants and the tram, which makes getting around the city incredibly easy. Even though it is in the center of everything, the hotel is on a side street, so you don't hear city noises. The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped us when we had a laundry service (Comptoir de la Laverie) come pick up our laundry on the weekend. Since we were staying 4 nights, we upgraded to a larger room and it was clean and comfortable. Also, the shower door completely closes, so no water on the floor! Highly recommended this hotel and loved visiting Bordeaux!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Majestic for two weeks and it is now one of our favorite hotels in Europe. We had a junior suite with a terrace; the room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The front desk staff is knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. Housekeeping is reliable and thorough. We had the breakfast buffet four times and it was extensive and delicious with wonderful local products. As if the hotel wasn’t great enough on its own, its location is perfect—easy walking to any part of Centre Ville and literally two minutes away from public transportation. Hotel Majestic excels at every quality a guest could want in a fine hotel.

The Majestic is a wonderful place to stay in Bordeaux. Location, staff and amenities are excellent. Bordeaux is a large city and our group of travelers were older. The hotel location near the Tram and Tourist Office was convenient and essential for planning visits to local sights. The hotel staff was incredible! Helpful with reservations, recommendations and made my wife’s birthday special with champagne and flower orders. Breakfasts were fresh, tasty and well optioned. This hotel is a find. Please consider a stay at the Majestic when you visit The wonderful city of Bordeaux.

Brilliantly located for shops, monuments and river. The most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time. 24h water fountain for filling up water bottle with cold, sparkling or natural water. 24h coffee on demand. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant staff. Foreign newspapers in lobby. A little warmer atmosphere would have been nice but this hotel gives you all the essentials for a super comfy stay.

Centrally located, walking distance to many important sites and near to many restaurants and shops. |Our room was modern, chic, and spotless equipped with an espresso machine, water bottles, hair dryer, toiletries, etc. Bed & pillows were comfy. We did not hear any outside noise.|The staff were all very courteous & welcoming and knowledgable. We want to especially recognize Maria that truly knew exactly where to send us for our late lunch upon arrival. We loved the restaurants she recommended for our nice dinners which we as a couple very much appreciated for memorable evenings in Bordeaux. |HIGHLY recommend Hotel Majestic! Hope we have the opportunity to return one day :)

This is a lovely hotel in an ideal location: close to the Grand Theatre, trams, shops, restaurants etc. but in a quiet street. The staff were all excellent - friendly and helpful. Our room (Junior Suite) was spacious and comfortable, and breakfasts were good quality. No restaurant, but they recommended some very good ones. I hope we'll be back.
